CPR Reflection

In this unit, we learned about the 4 R’s. they are Risk, Recognize, React, and Resuscitate. It’s important to understand these because they help us know what to do in emergencies. If we see someone in trouble, we can act quickly and effectively which might save a life. This knowledge helps us feel more confident and prepared in real life situations.

Core Competency Reflection

Communication Prompt:
One example of where I communicated clearly is during our practice sessions where I explained the CPR steps to my partner. This helped us both understand our roles better and work together more effectively.

Thinking Prompt:
Learning about CPR connects to my life because I want to help others if they’re in danger. Knowing CPR gives me the skills and confidence to act if someone needs help.

Personal and Social Prompt:
I am proud that I learned how to do CPR well by practicing with my classmates. Their support and the feedback from our teacher made me feel more capable of using these skills if I need to.

My Learning

I had originally handed this assignment in and got a developing, I wasn’t happy with my mark so I redid it. It used to be bland and my pictures did not match with my plot point but I didn’t realize it until I checked it over after it was handed in. I waited to receive my mark and knew I could’ve done better. So that’s what I did. I learned how to make animations in this movie and and how to make all those animations align with one another. I took the time to research online how to do this and asked for help from peers. Once this was part was completed, I took the time to change up the color scheme to make it more visually appealing and make sure it matched the theme that I was going for. Overall I learned how to use PowerPoint to a higher standard and can now take future projects above and beyond.
