I can ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener. When I am unsure about how to do something in class I will always ask for help so I can do everything to my best ability.
Titration Lab
I use evidence to make judgements or decisions as demonstrated in this titration lab to figure out when my solution will turn the perfect shade of pink. It took a few tries to get the pink to be very light and for the volumes to match up, but with every try my judgment on what decision I was going to make next changed. My precision got better as I knew that when a certain number of ml of NaOH was put into the HCl it would start getting closer and closer to the pink colour i was looking for. This allowed me to decide what i was going to do next in advance and get the results i was looking for.

Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in the research that has been done between my partner and me. I communicated clearly with my partner which parts we would work on, so we did not overlap. Additionally, when we were recording our re-buttles and original points, I made sure to talk as clear as I could and make sure what I was saying had the most purpose and meaning that it could.
If there is disagreement within the group, I find it helpful to first take a moment to understand what the disagreement is about and hear everyone’s side. I have noticed that in a group when working it works well to let everyone have a say in decisions before moving forward and if there is a disagreement that does not necessarily mean anyone is wrong, so it’s good to find a way to incorporate everything.
Evidence that I can acquire information about complex and specialized topics from various sources, synthesize it, and present it with thoughtful analysis can be found in the original recording about why I believe polygamy is bad. That topic required a significant amount of research and understanding. I had to use multiple different websites and understand many different points, and then present it in a thoughtful way. This was hard at first but I think I did a great job showing off my abilities.

In EFP 11we did many meaningful assignments. By completeting the assigment above, I learned a significant amount about land acknowledgements and how important the land is to us humans. The whole point of the assignment was to create our own land acknowledgement which led me to really think about how much our land means to me, and how important it is to acknowledge all that it has done for us. All the activities i have done in EFP have been helpful with learning about the land, but this one in specific really stood out to me.
I contribute during group activities with peers and share roles and responsibilities to achieve goals. I take on different roles and tasks in the group and work respectfully and safely.
During this project Keanna and I split the roles very equally. We both contributed to the group discussion as to what our photoshoot was going to be about and even though we both had different ideas we worked together to create a fair photo that we both liked. When it came to take the photo, me and Keanna worked together and had our roles that we both contributed to when taking the photo. For example, when I was taking the photo Keanna would pose and then we would switch meaning she would take the photo, and I would pose. This allowed for the photo to be taken without using a timer and since we were working together, we got the job done faster. Lastly, when we ran into a problem with our photos or camera, me an Keanna both worked together to solve the issue. Overall, I feel me and Keanna both equally contributed and did out parts fairly and safely and the outcome was great.
COMMUNICATION

I show this by constantly asking questions when I am confused about something. If I am unsure about my work, I will always go to my teacher because I want to do the best I can.
When my teacher is done teaching a lesson, I will always contribute to the conversations that are taken place after. I try to make sense of as much as I can in this class even though it can be tricky sometimes. Asking a lot of questions really help.
I can understand and share information about a topic of interest in a clear, and
organized way.
I am very organized in Spanish 11. All my notes are in a specific place of my binder and extremely easy to access. This makes it very easy to put out my ideas and information about specific topics. When I have an idea to share, I will always try my best to convey it in an efficient, clear, an organized way.
I can represent my learning and tell how it connects to my experiences.
I can represent my learning significantly well. I always put my absolute best in all my work and learn from my mistakes.
The difference between writing in English vs Spanish.
The difference between writing in my fluent English language, and Spanish is big. It is a very big struggle learning all the different words and how to use them in sentences and it can be extremely stressful. Something important I have taken away from this is to always try my best and to not second guess what I am writing.
The differences between writing in Spanish and English is mostly how words are used. In Spanish sentences, the words can sometimes be swapped and in English everything is more straight forward.
Overall, Spanish is extremely hard to write in compared to English, but once you start getting the hang of it, it is fun.
Some of my strengths and stretches are staying on task and doing my work on time. I plan to address them this year by making sure I get all my work done on time and stay on task without getting distracted by unnecessary thing. that is a very big goal of mine as I want to do well in my classes
If I become sad, angry or frustrated, during class i plan to take a quick breathing break and just focus on how I feel so I don’t get too overwhelmed and it will help me become more productive or calm. That is a big goal of mine as I do get very anxious during class so this will really help me.
Some of the ways I plan to work to build and maintain relationships is to be nicer and include everyone. I do have tendency to not be the nicest so a goal of mine Is to be nice to everyone!
Careers was one of the most useful classes I have taken this year. It has really opened my mind up and made me think about my future and what I want to do with my life. I am not the type of person who likes to think about my future as it scares me a bit, but Mr. Rensen has made it very enjoyable.
An example of something I have spent a lot of time learning about is what kind of job I would enjoy in the future. This class has really opened my eyes on what careers I could pursue in.

I demonstrated this by asking my teacher a lot of questions if I was confused and I wanted to show that I was engaged and willing to learn. During this project me and my partner worked together and listened to each other the whole time. When we were coming up with what our conversation was going to be about, we made sure to both allow each other to present our ideas and we worked off of them.
I can work with others to achieve a goal. I was very good working with my partner to create this project. We both equally contributed and agreed on everything. It was honestly very fun project and it turned our exactly how we wanted.
I can recognize different points of view, and disagree respectfully. I demonstrated this a lot during this project. My partner and I both talked about our ideas and came up with the best solution we thought would make our project the best. We didn’t always agree but we worked our differences out.

I ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener. I demonstrated this by asking my teacher questions and fixing my Brochure according to what she says. For example if I was confused about something I would just ask a question and work of the answer I was provided with.
I can show a sense of accomplishment and joy. I take pride in my work and myself. I demonstrated this by being super happy with how my brochure came out. I was so proud because I did it all myself and it turned out great!
I recognize my emotions and use strategies to manage them. I demonstrated this by taking deep breaths when I got overwhelmed in the planning process of this brochure. I was stuck on what food I wanted to make my food truck on and that lead me to procrastinate and start my project when there wasn’t much time left to finish it. I made sure to remind myself I was going to finish it on time and believe it or not I did.
