Touching Spirit Bear The Movie: Edwin’s Story

Our movie

Plot, Character, Setting and Mood

· To figure out what my character looked like I looked back to details in the book. The book described basic features about my character and then I used my imagination to added the things I didn’t know

· To choose the plot points we looked at all the times our character appeared in the book. we looked at the quotes and chose based of significance.

· To figure out the setting of the story we looked back to the book. The book gave off details of its surrounding and time. The setting is very important because it allows the reader to get a better understanding of what’s going on. Time and place can affect the entire story.

· Mood means how the story feels. Mood is like how the story affects emotions. like is the story supposed to feel generally dark and sad. We chose a kind of mysterious and dark music since Edwin was always dealing with Cole and the island and it was a very dark feeling around that.

Core Competency Reflection

Some skills I have developed to make my creative activities better are learning to add music to powerpoint as well as making the slides go faster and slower. I learned to use avatar maker.

When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I take a break. I give myself time away from what im doing and then when I’m ready go back and start back up again.
