In class I made a princess seam dress with an invisible zipper, adjustable straps, and pockets.

I remain open minded as I explore viable options or alternative approaches, like when I was figuring out the different methods to sewing the pockets and side seams of the dress. I also ran into problems when sewing the lining being to short. I used an alternate approach to add extra fabric when not called for to fill the dress.

Some skills I gained when making this dress were patience as this was a project with many new things like sewing invisible zippers which I used 2 new presser foots for the sewing machine. I also learned adjustable straps which I was able to do with no extra assistants. Im quite proud of this project since I started the course with no prior experience.
