My Advertising

Persuasion and Advertisement learning reflection
A. The technique i used for the advertisement is Special Offer. I wrote a catching phrase that encourages consumers to buy it that says” Crazy Sale Up To 50% Off ” This makes people want it more and get it before the sale ends.
B. The product I chose was a strawberry scented Lip gloss. due to this reason I had too use colors that are related and represents the gloss. Which was a lot of shades of pink. I thought this would make it pop and express it perfectly. People can just tell the scent just by looking at the picture.
the background is the picture of the product that i got from “Pin by Eunoia Beauties on Beauty Moodboard in 2024 | Lip Gloss Cosmetics, Cosmetics Photography, Lip Gloss Homemade.” Pinterest, https://www.pinterest.com/pin/beauty-moodboard-in-2024–38351034324404792/. Accessed 2 Dec. 2024.” then i added decoration to get more attraction.
C. Other students should know that advertisements are not just about showcasing a product but also about telling a story and engaging the audience on an emotional level. Effective advertisements require a combination of creativity, strategic design, and an understanding of the target audience’s preferences. By focusing on elements such as compelling visuals, authentic details, and clear messaging, students can create advertisements that not only capture attention but also leave a lasting impression.
Core Competency Reflection
An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is the background image. i enhanced and refined it by incorporating additional standards to align with the project requirements. I got the photography of the product instead of creating it by AI to make more realistic representation and effectively convey my concept.
I used to think advertisements were simply created to fulfill consumers’ need by showcasing the usefulness of the product or service. Now I know that successful advertisement requires more than just addressing practical needs. To make an advertisement truly effective it must be eye-catching, engaging, and able to evoke a sense of desire or connection in the audience. By combining creativity with strategic messaging, advertisements can not only capture attention but also persuade consumers to take action, ultimately enhancing their appeal effectiveness.
