Since the start of French 9, I have improved a lot. At first, I found it hard to speak and write in French, but now I can understand more and feel more confident. One thing that surprised me was how quickly I started to understand spoken French. I still find verb conjugation and writing longer sentences challenging, but I’m getting better. For my French 9 family tree project, I described my family members using French vocabulary about traits, hobbies, and relationships. I’m proud of how clear and organized it was, and I used grammar correctly. This showed my communication skills and responsibility, as I managed my time well and checked my work. Next time, I would try to use more advanced French vocabulary.
An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is when My partners figured out a solution to building the series circuit. But we also needed to create a parallel circuit so i figured out a way to add onto the series circuit and create the parallel circuit. By adding a couple of wires, light switches and lights.
I show others that I truly value their contributions by letting them try out and share their ideas with me. An example i had when doing this project is when my group mate had an idea to complete the series circuit. She had a great idea and smart idea to tryout and it worked.

Next time i would like to work faster as i almost didn’t finish because we were stuck on one question and couldn’t figure it out.
I will be planning this special day for my mom. This day would take place anytime on the weekends as she has work.
Itinerary
12pm: I decided to take her to the Coquitlam mall were she could shop at her favorite stores like Lululemon, Aritzia, North face, and zumiez. We would get to the mall by limo ($135). I would buy her the longsleeve scoopneck she has been wanting ($48).
1:30pm: We would walk over to Cactus Club for some lunch. She would get the steak frites ($35.25) which comes with a side salad.
2:45pm: We would then bus home (i have bus pass). So my mom could drive us over to Zone bowling ($28.00). Where would bowl for only one round.
3:45pm: My mom would then drive us home so I could help prep dinner for my sister and father.
5:00pm Once finished making dinner we both take the bus to La Foret. Where my mom would order Fettuccine Bacon shrimp ($22.99).
6:30pm: We would walk down to cineplex to watch the new Minecraft movie.
8:00pm: Then after the movie my mom would drive us home so, we could get ready for bed.
How much did you end up spending on your special day? I spent exactly $299.85 which was perfect with our budget of $300.
What percentage of the total budget did you end up spending? I spent exactly 100% as i had to round up to one decimal.
What might you have done differently if you had a budget of $500? I would focus more in going to activities like basketball games, soccer games, concerts, etc.
What might you have done differently if you had a budget of $100? I would only walk or bus to places to save more money. I would also focus on spending less on food and not going to expensive restaurants.

Why did you chose this specific person? Why do you believe they deserve to be celebrated? I chose my mom because she does so much for me like cooking dinners, doing chores, and helping me with homework. So she deserves a specials day off.
Why did you chose to spend your budget the way you did? How did your values influence your decision? I chose to spend my budgets the way I did because I believe my mom would appreciate the activities. Also so I could be the closest to the budget $300. I chose these values because my mom needs a brake from all of her hard work.
I learned how to put this into a PowerPoint map and explain it. You used digital tools to organize and present your findings clearly and effectively.

For example this PowerPoint really brought out new information about different towns and occupations i didn’t know about. Which helped me evolve not only as a learner but a person.
I formed new ideas to create new things. I also built on the ideas of others. I formed new ideas to spice up my PowerPoint by adding different fonts, symbols, and backgrounds. I added on my friends idea after looking at how neat there PowerPoint was.
I asked and responded to questions to be an active and supportive listener. I chose this one because i feel i asked plenty of questions on my PowerPoint and was a active supportive/listener. When my friends called me over to check over there work for mistakes and if they followed instructions.
One Goal: I inquired into and presented a topic of interest and related to my studies. I am working towards showing more interest in my work/studies. I will achieve this goal by going deeper in the origins of the assignments and look for something that intrigues me to write about and show more interest.
The use of A.I assisted me a lot while developing this project in lots of different ways. For example it helped me by giving me sites, references and generating some ideas. In conclusion, A.I is a very useful platform to use for projects and assignments.
i ensured the work i created was my own by putting all my work in a plagiarized checker. I also, had a teacher look over my work including my parents to make sure nothing was copied and unsighted.
C) Did you agree with the position you had to argue? Why or why not?
I do not agree nor disagree with the position i had to argue with, i believe you could use violence as your last resort in a revolution. For example if you already tried to protest and ask the ruler yourself and nothing changed then i believe you can resort to violence. So, you can get your point across and it will make the ruler listen for next time.

Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in my word documents. As i believe i worked my hardest and showed good information and good punctuation. Some of my friends and family members checked over some of my work and said it showed good facts, details and arguments.
My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include taking the time and reading the sources. When you read the sources instead of just glancing at it and getting a brief understanding, you want to read through most of it so you have a sense of what’s happening. Then you can turn back and start sighting the information.
My grade nine was a year filled with exciting and hands-on experiences. This year In Foods class, i enjoyed preparing some delicious meals, experimenting with different recipes that I still remember today. I also enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball, where I improved my skills and strengths being apart of the school teams. Woodworking was another highlight, my strengths are building projects from scratch, which was both challenging and difficult. Overall, this year i learned a bunch of new things and made great memories, and developed skills that I still use today.
A Useful Educational Website
A useful educational website i used was Quizlet. Quizlet was a very good website as it helped me study for French, socials, science, and math. This website offers many different strategies that can help you study for example you can use cue cards, multiple choice questions and more.
A Useful Educational Video
A useful educational video i used was “Five Ways to Study Like a Genius.” This video shows a number of ways that helped me study. For example one of those ways was to spend and hour a day studying each subject instead of studying one subject per day. This helped me because i used to spend hours focusing on one subject per day and didn’t obtain much information.

A useful educational image was the periodic table. This helped me a lot as i had to remember all these elements for upcoming labs in science. This image also helped me understand what elements we breath and see everyday.
A Useful Educational Quote
A useful educational quote is “Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching.” This means that learning never stops because all around us is different obstacles, challenges and emotions. Us as people never stop learning and trying new things.
I can easily identify the equipment i need to use for each recipe and also use the equipment safely without any injures. For example To set the heat for the oven you would press “Bake” and select your temperature then click enter, you must always remember to turn the oven off and on as its old and it doesn’t stay hot for a long period of time. The strategy I’ve found best to share the jobs of each recipe is whatever your job is for example if you were dish washer you would do the chopping with the knife. Or if you were dish dryer you get a different task and so on.

As an active listener I’ve noticed i tend to learn and understand more recipe requirements. For example its a lot easier to get a demo of what your cooking instead of not paying attention to the demo and just jumping into your work.
If the group is not productive, we can all tell each other to focus at the task at hand in order to get things moving in the right direction.
If there is disagreement within the group, I find it helpful to tell them to drop the disagreement till after class so its not effecting our work and effort.
A goal I would like to work on is my strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks. I chose this goal because its very important as i need to listen to important information better so I can understand the task at hand. A way i can achieve this goal is by paying more attention in class and not talking to the people around me.
Some things I thought I did well in this poem were adding good poetic devices. For example I had plenty of similes, metaphors, end rhymes and middle rhymes. I also thought I had great descriptive language which really brought my poem alive. Some things I could have worked on were doing more hand signals during my presentation because it shows the audience that I am speaking on a deep level. I also could have added more sentences so I could reach the two minute goal.

My top priority in the coming week for these last few assignments are finishing on time, working hard and taking my time. If I follow this format correctly I will be working very efficient as I will be finished on time the work will not be rushed and it will look great. After reviewing some of my past few assignments I’ve made sure that I would add more detail in my work and show more care in it. In these upcoming weeks I will make sure to stay focused on my work so I can really add that good detail.

I sought, developed and weighed options as demonstrated by selecting a challenging technique so that i could improve my skills as a great advertiser. I also took the time to think about what in was going to do before just rushing and putting some random ad up.
