Italian Pizza

My Reflection

My thin crust, Italian style pizza turned out so well. It was one of my best labs. I added spinach, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and of course tomato sauce. We rolled the dough out really thin, and stretched it out as much as we could. We added another thin layer of tomato sauce. For my toppings I added shopped spinach, and big pieces of crumbled mozzarella and parmesan. This pizza tasted so much better then a bough pizza because I prefer a thinner crust with less tomato sauce and that’s exactly what our lab was about. We made our dough by hand and it was very fun to make this entire pizza from scratch.

Overall

This was the final result of our Breakfast Appetizer Buffet. The entire class did an amazing job preparing our dishes, and the other teachers and staff of Centennial loved it all. I had a lot of fun working with my entire class to get all out stuff done to show it off. These Buffet/Show for other staff and students is always fun and very exciting because they get to enjoy our cooking as well. We work very hard in our Foods class and this is an amazing experience.

My Reflection

This lab was another test lab. We made these 6 cupcakes by ourselves. We were not allowed to ask questions to Ms.Bolli or our fellow classmates, this was 100% individual. My cupcakes turned our really well. They were perfectly baked, moist inside, and they were all the same shape. This was a good lab for myself because they tested my ability to work faster then I normally would and prioritize the steps in making the cupcakes. I did not ice my cupcakes because I almost ran out of time and I do not prefer to ice them. I really liked this lab because I work well by myself and this was a fun lab because they are simple cupcakes.

My Reflection

These mini-cupckaes were made for our class Halloween dessert display. We had teachers and and other students came in and try our Halloween treats. These cupcakes turned out great. They were moist, and very flavourful. My partner did the icing and she did an amazing job. She iced these perfectly for the mummy look that we wanted for the Halloween display. We then added eyes and it looked exactly how we wanted. These cupcakes were a big success and everyone else loved them too!
