Photography 10

I can get new ideas or build on or combine other people’s ideas to create new things within the constraints of a form, a problem, or materials. I can get new ideas to create new things or solve straightforward problems. My ideas are fun, entertaining, or useful to me and my peers, and I have a sense of accomplishment.

For this collage I took I was originally planning to take photos of outside such as a basket ball court and kids playing soccer. But the weather was pretty bad the days we had to do this assignment. I got a new idea by talking to my friend about the problem because she also was struggling with the problem too. We both came up with things we could take photos of inside centennial. We put both of our ideas together and came up with different photos but pretty similar.

CPR Reflection

My learning CPR

CPR Reflection

  1. What was something you learned that you didn’t know or consider before?  I didn’t know what a AED was. I learned what the purpose of it is if someone is going into cardiac arrest it can be used and save someones life and I learnt how to use it.
  1. What is a key takeaway from the Theory or Practical CPR unit? The 4 R’s Risk, Recognize, React and Resuscitate. teaches us how to stay safe giving CPR and how to safely give CPR it also reminds us to stay calm.
  1. How does this unit connect to the nutrition unit learned previously? This unit teaches us how to effectively give CPR and possibly save someones life.

Core Competency Reflection

  1. One of the ways I can see using this learning to help others is if I recognize the symptoms I can use the 4 R’s and do the proper CPR I have learnt to do.

2. In discussions and conversations, I help to build and extend understanding by asking questions and participating in the conversation.

3. Examples of where I communicated clearly and purposefully can be seen in was when I missed the CPR test so I used my communication skills to learn more about it and be more prepared for it. I also had to communicate to the CPR dummy asking for its consent to perform CPR.

Pancakes

Making and Sharing Reflection

Making this pancake my group and I made sure we had the exact measurements. I also made sure my pancakes were similar in size. Some important equipment we used was a rubber flipper to flip the pancakes over making sure they don’t break, a small whisk to whisk the batter all together.

My pancakes tasted amazing, they were super fluffy. I cooked them just in time they were golden brown. I shared my pancakes with my friends out side of the class, they really enjoyed them and complemented how well they tasted.

Core Competency Reflection

If the group is not productive, we can discuss how to make things better in order to get things moving in the right direction.
