I used this strength (Focus) in multiple ways this semester, but the most memorable one I can remember is when I was doing a math test, and I was focused for the whole class, and I got it done in that same class, in the same day. The way this learning strength helped me be successful because I was able to finish the whole test, which was around 9-10 pages

The reason I chose these careers is because I have been interested in this field of work for around 3-4 years now, and these are 2 careers I am very interested in, and I do a lot of work for them at home and outside of school, so they made the most sense to pick for this project.
The takeaways for me after doing all of the research on the careers was that it was hard to find some salaries, as they weren’t publicly available, and also trying to find the length of the programs, as for the flight schools (commercial pilot), there isn’t really a set number of years that it takes, it varies between people.
The education programs that I am most interested in right now are: Any flight school or anything related to the aviation field.
I am very ready to start this journey, I am in the process of getting my flying licenses, and I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to this field. When it comes to how ready I am for this career path, I am very ready, as I have done a lot of prior research over the past 4 years. I can prepare myself by doing more research, and always gaining more knowledge.
Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in: anything digital, or anything that can be done in an online fashion.
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I take a quick walk or just a quick break from the work to re focus.
Some of the ways I work to build and maintain relationships are: being respectful and understanding, always trying to advocate for peoples needs, etc.
An example of something I have spent a lot of time learning about is when we were doing the research for the project, and I really got into learning about hydropower and how it works.
My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include doing a lot of research when I have the time to, only googling specific ideas/one idea at once, not multiple ideas all at one time.

The reason I am working towards this goal is because I can’t really show how I collected the evidence as much as I can show the evidence.
a. What was something you learned that you didn’t know or consider before?
That CPR is so tiring, I thought it was way easier.
b. What is a key takeaway from the Theory or Practical CPR unit?
One key takeaway that I had from this unit is I know how to do CPR and use an AED in a safe and proper manner.
c. How does this unit connect to the nutrition unit learned previously?
Because if you eat unhealthy every day (eating stuff like candy and chips and pop and bad stuff like that), then it could lead to heart failure, which requires using an AED or doing CPR on a person.

When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I will take a walk for a couple mins before returning to class. I do this because it takes me away from the really stressful situations, and sort of helps me reset my mind.
One lesson that stimulated my thinking about the importance of CPR was when I was thinking about just how easily someone’s heart can stop/fail, and that I could be put in this position at any given time of day.

Communication is the key aspect out of all 3 of the Core Competencies. The reason that communication is the biggest aspect is because if you don’t have communication with other people when you’re cooking, all you can really do is just stand there and watch your food, do all of the steps yourself with no help, and really just work as one person. However, if you do have communication with your groupmates, then it will be way easier to cook on the days that you do cook, because then, you’re not doing everything yourself, you have help.
The reason why i chose this artifact to go with this Core Competency is because for this specific lab, it took a lot of communication, more than usual.
Communication: I ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener.
Personal/Social: I can identify my strengths and identify my potential.
Thinking: I deliberately learn about things that interest me, and new ideas pop into my head.
My Grade 9 Year
My grade 9 year was definitely full of ups and downs, but it was a great experience. Some words that described my year are fun, crazy, different, hard, and challenging. This year I also learned that you shouldn’t get behind on your work too much because if you do, it will all just spiral out of control and therefore, have a huge impact on your final grade.
The reason I chose this link is because the Office website has helped me through a bunch of projects and assignments that I have/had. The fact that all the applications are there on one website is very helpful. The actual reason I chose this link though is because of the fact that without it, I probably wouldn’t even be passing any classes this and last semester.
The reason I chose this as the educational image is because this was a project I did for my science class, and it was an assignment that really helped me in that first semester, as I got a really high grade on it. So that’s why I chose to share this image. I got a really good grade on it and overall, I am really proud of it.

Thinking Competency
I believe that this photo represents my thinking core competency well as you can see, these muffins turned out, almost perfectly, and I wouldn’t have been able to make them still perfect if I didn’t communicate with people around me and the teacher. some skills I’ve been able to accomplish have been how to Make muffins, How to use a oven correctly, And how easy it is to make muffins. I want to improve on future labs Is working harder and getting things done overtime, which is what happens most of the time.
I recognize different points of view and can disagree respectfully.
I can show a sense of accomplishment and joy. I take pride in my work and myself.
I find it easy to be part of a group.
I chose the plot points by reading the book, looking at some key words, and figuring out some very very key points.
I figured out the setting because it is the concentration camp, which is mainly where the story is based. The setting is significant to the story because it is where all of the events happened, where everything went down.
The reason I chose this music is because it represents how sad the book is. The way it represesnts mood is because it is a sad book, so a sad mood would go with it.
Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in PowerPoint’s, Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, and anything that is electronic.
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I take a quick rest, do some breathing excercises, and try to refocus myself on the current situation.
In discussions and conversations, I help to build and extend understanding by going into more detail on the topic, and staying on the sunject, not going and branching off to different subjects that don’t make any sense with the conversation.
