For my artifact, I chose the presentation I made about the Spanish dish, Ropa Vieja. I made the presentation describing what the food tastes like, background information and how to make the dish.

When creating my presentation about Ropa Vieja, I ensured that I applied my critical thinking skills to ensure the information I presented was clear and engaging for the audience. When finding information about Ropa Viejas, I made sure I was picking out the best information and not useless information. I ensured that all of my sources were reliable and relevant. I organized my slides in the order I thought made the most sense. To ensure my audience and I understood what I was saying, I chose to use words that weren’t too complicated and that were relatively easy to use and understand. During this activity, I gained better knowledge on how to present in front of the class and maintain eye contact while presenting to my audience.
