Unit three conversation

Core competency reflection

  1. I can reflect on my thinking. I chose this because if I wrote a sentence that isn’t grammatically correct or doesn’t make sense, my partner will tell me I that it isn’t correct, and I will need to make changes.
  2. I work with others to achieve a goal. I chose this because, for the unit three conversation, I worked with my partner to achieve a common goal. We shared ideas and collaborated and we did pretty good.
  3. I can tell the difference between fact and opinion. I know that when I’m talking to someone or working in a project, what we’re sharing with each other might not be correct and it might just be their opinion, when it is right, I can acknowledge it.
  4. I can show a sense of accomplishment and joy. I take pride in my work and myself. If I do good on a test or I finished a project that was well made, I feel proud and that my hard work has paid off.

Goal

  1. I find it easy to be part of a group. I don’t find it easy. I don’t like to around a lot of people. I like to work alone, if I’m in a group, I might carry their weight, or the work isn’t divided evenly, and one person is doing more than others. Also, if I’m in a group of people that aren’t my friends, I’m not good at making conversation and it gets really awkward because now we’re just staring at each other. I don’t think I’ll ever be a part of a big group of friends or anything like that, thank god. But I think it’s good to socialize so I’ll start with one or two other people, then we can talk to mutal friends and slowly expand our group.
