I think it’s important to remember who benefits from the advertisement because they don’t have your best interest at heart. They just want money. What they’re doing is making profit off your materialism. People will do anything for money and they’re trying to sell you things using persuasion tactics.

I showed others that I truly valued their contributions by respectfully agreeing with them. I showed that I valued feedback from others in my group by listening to their feedback. I knew my group is working well together when I heard “I agree with you guys” or, “that’s a great idea” or even, “I disagree however, …”.
