Creative thinking

With this assignment we had to write about our best year in Spanish. I had to use creative thinking to turn this year into a story. I can use my personal experience to come up with ideas to formulate more of the story. I can make or change my work or ideas to fit the project better. I can change and add other little details after they come to mind. I can challenge myself by recognizing these details in another language. For me this project was easy to come up with ideas to write about but I struggled with the translation in a few areas. I also struggled with a bit of making the sentences correct in Spanish. Over all it was fun to work on and an entertaining challenge.

Communication CC

I can apply constructive strategies to navigate misunderstandings and conflicts. What I do is I try to talk through the conflict so we can get back on track with the assignment, or I will compromise with the person, coming up with other ideas also works to get back on track. I can encourage others to share their voices and value diverse perspectives. Sometimes getting other peoples ideas for something helps and we can collaborate to make the project better. I can work with others to achieve a goal. I prefer to work with others as stuff can get done faster and if there’s a mistake I don’t notice someone could tell me and we can fix it, or if I need help with something or coming up with ideas we can collaborate or help me in the right direction. Working with others helps me come up with more ideas, I also can focus more while sharing ideas or discussing topics related to the assignment.

Curricular Competency Reflection

I will be be answering the question of how much I have grown. My teachers have helped me realize how much I have actually grown this semester. I started this semester always in the back of hikes not knowing anyone. But I will be ending this semester with tons of friend and great connections to the people in this class. I’m not at the front of the hikes chatting with my teachers or the people around me.

Core Competency Reflectio

An example of something I have spent a lot of time learning about is our solar system. I didn’t do very well on the actual project but I was able to come up with great mythology and planets in the solar system. I had a lot of fun being creative on this project.

When I am sad, angry or frustrated, telling the people that I need a minute and walking away helps me be more productive or calm. This has helped a lot. On our last over night trip when I finally walking into the cabin we were staying at my friend looked at me and asked if I was okay. I shook my head and she left me alone and I was able to quickly calm down then talk to her.

Because I know I can have a negative impact on my peers, I make sure that i try to complain less on hikes to help reduce any problems. I know that if I complain to much that will upset my teachers or friends. So I try to be more positive and complain less and that keeps me, my teachers and friends in a better mood.

Reflecting on my first year

my grade 9 year

My first year was very fun. I really enjoyed making new friends and being in a new environment. I liked having new teachers and only having four classes a day. Trying to walk through the halls at lunch was really annoying though. There’s always people stoping in the middle of the hall to talk to their friends.

I needed to research the basic questions like who found it and when was is found

I used sway I have used sway a few time so it was familiar

When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I save what I’m working on. Then I turn my iPad off and walk away for a few minutes like go on a walk.

Using a gic for 3 years putting 80,000 with the amount of money going up 4.2% every year. after the first you you would have 83,360. after the second year you would have 86,861.12 and after the 3rd year you would have 90,509.29.

You should chose to use a GIC because it’s a guarantee that you will get your money back also because your money will go up over time

I didn’t really know that this was a group project because everyone in my group had already done it.

Not very much my group had already done it and was helping other people.

For this week we were learning how to use blender. a 3d modelling program one of the challenges i faced was my sword project i could not get past the first like 5 steps. after many times of restartIng and taking a break i was finally able to complete it.

Plot characteris settings and mood

I figured out how my character looks like from reading the page that Described her.

· How did you choose plot points to focus on for your movie?

the plot points all i did was chose the Most interesting one.

the setting was said A lot in the book.

the mood i figured out by figuring out what moods the book made me feel.

This is how I select images and words to create impact for different audiences: I re-read the page to see what is said and what the setting looks like. Then I find the best image that the setting describes.

Some skills I have developed to make my creative activities better are taking a break when I need one or I’m having a hard time with whatever I’m doing. Sometimes I don’t need a break and I just need to have a snack.

When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I Put on some background noise such as music are movies that I have already watched so I don’t get distracted.
