Wood Working 10 Reflection (Thinking)

I demonstrated Problem solving skills when I cut my lift lid box to the wrong height and had to adjust to the instructions to fit my box. I realize that the reason I cut my box too small was because I was having trouble reading the measuring tape. With experience I would have understood that I was cutting my wood too small. At the end of the year, I can tell that I am much better at reading the measuring tape and I always double check my work before I cut.

  • In this class I learned to find ways around my mistakes (Thinking)
  • I have learned not to get upset when I break a piece or have to redo something. (Personal/Social)
  • I learned to ask for help when I need it and to take advice when given. (Communication)

My finished lift lid box a bit smaller than it’s supposed to be but it still works, and I am proud of the work I put in.
