Core competencies Reflection

• Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in how I communicated with my team to create the poster and practice for presenting it to the teacher. We did our jobs well because of the communication between us that let us know exactly what we were responsible for during the creation and the presentation.

• I show others that I truly value their contributions by listening to all of their ideas and making suggestions if I feel that the suggestion needs some tweaking. I also make sure to include their idea so that they feel included and that they have a say in how the project turns out.

• One goal that I have in this class is to make sure that I study constantly so that I can understand all the vocab, rules, and exceptions that riddle the French language. I would like to grow in the collaboration competency so that When I need to work collaboratively with people I don’t know well I can get over my fears and work well with them.
