Technology and wellbeing Reflection

Everyone gets stressed out at some time or another. I often get stressed out because of work I have yet to do or a project that I have not been getting done fast enough. When this happened and it still happens, I tried to make a plan to solve the problem. For example, I think how much time do I have and how much work I have yet to do, then I decide how much I have to do in a certain amount of time. Technology does not cause me that much stress because I don’t use it that much, sometimes I will get frustrated over a game or not being able to play any video games, and I admit I often spend more time than I want on the screens. Other then that, technology is a distraction that keeps me from finishing my work or doing something I would enjoy. I think that if I use technology as a reward for doing my work then I can be motivated to get it done and then play. One thing I also need to manage is the time I spend on screens so I don’t lose the time for other things I want to do such as baking or playing with my siblings. My thoughts are: you have to balance screen time, work, and other fun things you want to do. If you don’t do this you can end up stressing yourself, or never getting anything done. Once you do this properly you will find that work is getting done and you are having fun doing it. That’s all I have to say about stress today, good bye.
Core competences reflection.
- -I am kind to others, and support others when they need it. I feel that I will help others when I feel comfortable with the subject. one thing that I won’t do is tell them the answers to the questions they are asking me; I try to steer them onto the right path so that they can do it on their own. This help them to become more competent farther on in their life.
- -I participate in classroom or group activities that improve the class, school, or community. I try to improve the community in my day-to-day life in small ways. Some of the things that I do to help include: recycling, biking to school, participating in school clubs, and playing on a sports team. these small acts help improve our community in ways that are important; such as reducing the amount of waste we have, building social connections, and creating an environment we want to be a part of.
- -I can identify how my actions affect the community or environment and I can make positive change. I can see how my actions affect the community or environment such as how when I bike to school I am reducing the greenhouse gases I could be producing and still get to school on time. The way we treat others also impacts the community. For example if someone forgot their lunch money you could lend them some or just walk away. one of these will make the other person feel valued and welcome, the other will just make them feel like they don’t matter and then hungry. you can make ethe space around you better or worse you choose.
