CORE COMPETENCY SELF-ASSESSMENT
After reflecting on my abilities in the chemistry laboratory, I have recognized several areas where I excel. These include being skilled in using laboratory equipment, conducting research and investigations, prioritizing safety in the lab, working well with others and communicating effectively, being adaptable and always eager to learn, having strong organizational and time management skills, being capable of analyzing and understanding data, ensuring quality and adhering to ethical standards. In simpler terms, I am proficient in using lab instruments, designing experiments, keeping things safe, solving problems, working with others, always learning, staying organized, analyzing data, maintaining quality, and being ethical. By acknowledging these strengths, I can continue to develop and thrive in my exploration of the chemistry labp

CORR COMPETENCY
I developed my skills in the area in the classroom. I did labs and complied with all the instructions given by the teacher. I learned dynamically in the class and we were allowed to express ourselves freely. Work in groups efficiently and do all the worksheets given in class. I end this class with many teachings, including one of them; MOVE4MANA.
From the volcano I learned how they really work and I learned the differences between mudslide and landslide. We did different activities throughout the course. That is to say; For each topic seen in class we did projects to make the class more dynamic and exercise our learning 100%.

I end this class with many teachings, including one of them; dissection of the pig in the laboratory. From the pig I learned the differences between whether it is male or female and I learned how to differentiate between its organs. Another one in the laboratory was about enzymes, we did different activities to find out how enzymes work. We also learned by doing roleplays. That is to say; For each topic seen in class we did roleplays to make the class more dynamic and exercise our learning 100%.


Group Work in Math
There is a lot of pros and cons about working in groups. The pros are, you share responsability, you develop stronger communication skills, it allows more oppinions to be shared. Some cons are, making decision slow, poor leadership, it can cause a conflict between members.
I am clear on the difference between simple “group work” and collaboration as evidenced by
I show others that I truly value their contributions by thanking them and putting all my effert on my part.
If the group is not productive, we can talk with teh teacher in order to get things moving in the right direction.
If I notice that someone on my team has a doubt or it’s not making their part, that’s a sign that my group needs help and we can get support by talking to each other, asking the teacher or even searching on internet.
In this group project I learnt how even you don’t know your partners they will support you anyways and help you in what you fail.
Core Competency
I know how to distinguish between facts and opinions.
I remember discussing with my colleagues in the titration lab about its properties and its shortcomings.
I can contribute and work with criteria to improve my own work.
If in titration can analyze my mistakes and I searched for real information about the effect of bases on acid
I can form new ideas to create new things. I can also build on the ideas of others.
In labs I remember to do my work and compare it with others to see where I need to improve or if I need help from the teacher I require it and I make summaries of my learning in class to constantly review it .
A strategy or activity that stimulates my imagination is… watching videos in Spanish helps me to understand better especially in chemistry where sometimes the vocabulary is difficult to understand watching videos and listening to audios at night helps me to remember it the next day .
The Last Leaf
My story
I talk about Johnsy and why she wanted to die. In my scene, Johnsy and her girlfriend get into a fight and break up, Johnsy still love her, but she does not want anything to do with her. And that make Johnsy wants to die until Mr. Behrman passed away, she realize that she doesn’t need her because there’s other people that still love her.

I can get new ideas by imagining things that I see on my day by day or things that happen to me and people I’m close to.
