My cultural background/ upbringing contributes to who I am as a student in that I have always been taught that I should try my hardest in everything I because it is important for my future. However, even if I don’t do as well as I would’ve liked to, it is important that I tried my best and aspire to do better in the future and don’t give up.

I think my experiences such as travelling to Italy with my family many times in my childhood to visit family and explore monuments and their history has influenced my interest in culture and history.
