I can communicate purposefully, using forms and strategies I have practiced. I can work with others and communicate my ideas and thoughts to others to put our ideas together and add our ideas together for a better result.
My favorite assignment was the light painting. I learned how to make the background darker by changing my exposure and shutter speed. I also learned how you can go in a pitch dark room where there is no light in your background and draw anything you want with the light and it will show after you take the photo. This was a really fun assignment to work on I enjoyed it the most and liked it also because it was something new that I didn’t know about and never done before.

My Grade 9 journey at Centennial High School. This year, I discovered my passion for volleyball, enjoying spiking the ball and the teamwork with my teammates. Through consistent practice and the support of my friends, I have advanced my skills, learned the value of teamwork, and experienced the joy of victory. Alongside volleyball, the friendships I have formed have been a significant highlight. Whether studying together, laughing during breaks, or hanging out after school, my friends have been a constant source of support and laughter. The shoes I wear, like my Air Jordans, have seriously helped my mental health. They make me feel so confident and happy with how I dress. When I put on those sneakers, it’s like an instant confidence boost. It’s crazy how something as simple as shoes can make such a big difference in how I feel. Thanks to my Air Jordans, I’ve learned that expressing myself through what I wear can have a positive impact on my overall well-being.

Internet security is crucial when it comes to protecting your personal data, there is no doubt about that. This is especially problematic when it becomes overly private and starts to request personal information from you that is either unnecessary or not required. Everyone is aware that the internet may not be the safest environment in the world, especially when it comes to websites and hackers. Websites have a technique to collect information from you without making it immediately apparent. Websites use cookies, which aren’t universally understood. While cookies aren’t always bad, they occasionally pose a risk, so you should always accept them with caution. You can sometimes refuse cookies and still use a website, but there are other websites that won’t let you continue using them without doing so, which forces users to accept them and is when things could go south. Pop-up messages like “Your iPhone has been hacked, download this immediately” terrify users into following the instructions in the message. Following the pop’s instructions could easily result in infections and hackers. The best way to prevent viruses and hackers is to simply be more cautious and consider your actions before taking them. The internet can be a dangerous place where a lot can go wrong with just one careless click. Be careful what you publish on social media and consider how it may impact both you and the person you are interacting with now and in the future. In general, I believe you simply need to spend more time and pay closer attention to what you’re doing on social media.

Personal/Social Competency Reflection
Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, Social media should be used for the right purpose.
Be careful when building and maintaining online relationships.
I make digital ethical choices such as deciding what I post or comment on someone’s post to make sure everything goes well, and people don’t get the wrong idea.
By making positive comments online on their work encouraging them and cheering them on , I make a positive difference to my peers.
Me and my group would work so well in our communication skills, and we would help each other a lot on things that we needed help with. I try my best to help people with things that I know how to do, and they don’t. I tried my best and still am to help some people that don’t speak English, but they speak my language because one day i was there when I didn’t know how to speak another language and I would feel so lost. I think that me and my partner communicated really well to make the blueberry muffins because that was our first time making them and we had to be careful to put the blueberry’s at the end and not mix them as much so the muffins dent turns out blue.
I chose GIC because in stocks you can lose money, and this was interesting to me. if you need to take out the money early you need to pay penalty and you will lose more money. If you leave it in your GIC it will save a lot of your money.
Weakness: In Canada has the best GIC rates requires your money, and it keeps it in there for a lot of ears and that helps you save so much of your money. If you withdraw your money early, you will probably pay a penalty.

I like working in groups because when someone doesn’t know what to do then we can help each other out and do it better when we actually understand.
