Reflecting on My First Year

My grade 9 year

My Grade 9 journey at Centennial High School. This year, I discovered my passion for volleyball, enjoying spiking the ball and the teamwork with my teammates. Through consistent practice and the support of my friends, I have advanced my skills, learned the value of teamwork, and experienced the joy of victory. Alongside volleyball, the friendships I have formed have been a significant highlight. Whether studying together, laughing during breaks, or hanging out after school, my friends have been a constant source of support and laughter. Grade 9 has been a memorable chapter of self-discovery, fostering lasting connections and the way for future growth in both volleyball and friendships

The shoes I wear, like my Air Jordans, have seriously helped my mental health. They make me feel so confident and happy with how I dress. When I put on those sneakers, it’s like an instant confidence boost. It’s crazy how something as simple as shoes can make such a big difference in how I feel. Thanks to my Air Jordans, I’ve learned that expressing myself through what I wear can have a positive impact on my overall well-being.

This video is a cute video of a dog. Personally I am a dog person and I always watch dog videos for comfort. It’s my dream to own one one day, especially a fluffy pomeranian dog.

Lying is never okay. Lying is like addiction, some people lie for fun or for no reason. My dad never has lied in his entire life and he is my inspiration. I love my dad and I look forward to learning new lessons from him about everything.

I learned how to write an essay because I would always writing short paragraphs but not long essays. This assignment helped me on how to write longer essays then I would usually write. 

This helped me improve on my writing because I read what we were supposed to do and kept checking if I was doing it right or not.

Persuasion and Advertisement Techniques

Considering all of the examples of ads you saw and the one you created, what did you learn about who benefits from advertisement? the person or creators of the advertisement or the creator of the company get the most benefits.

· Why is the who important to remember when you view an advertisement? It’s important because when they are trying to do an advertisement it’s toward a certain age or people, so it matters

· Discuss the effectiveness (or not) of each form of persuasion: logical, ethical and emotional on an audience (and on you).

for us add its logical because it helps people see when things are on sale or were to buy it and it help us get more sales on the project

· Choose 3 advertising techniques and explain why they are effective in advertisement.

· When my group was not productive, we did it by going to a quit place listen to music and that helped us in order to get things moving in the right direction.

· I used to think that it was useless and wouldn’t help me about advertisement and now I know it can help a lot with your company/brand because …it gets people to view and see more and make them want to buy it

· Some things I thought about when dividing tasks among my group members was…me and my partner made it even by discussing what part we were both gonna do and tried are best to make what we did even
