Is Violence justified in a Revolution?

Reflection Questions

A) How did the use of AI assist you in developing this project 

The use of AI was a large sum of what made our project work. We could use AI to find information about our topic with citation to where the AI got the information from. Allowing us to verify what sources we should pull from.

B) How did you ensure that the work you created was still your own, rather than just a product of the AI 

Rather than copying exactly what the AI generated I went straight to the actual source to try and pull bits and piece’s of my own to form an argument

C) Did you agree with the position you had to argue? Why or why not? 

Well, i don’t think its just that simple. I was fighting on the Pro side of is violence justified in a revolution. Meaning i had to find data that suggests that violence has actually helped in a revolution. I can’t say i disagree or agree to be honest.

Competency Reflection

My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include… 

Using the perplexity ai tool we were given i could find the data i needed to with relative ease along with it citing its sources, made it easy to find work.

I use evidence to make judgements or decisions as demonstrated in this… 

before putting in the information i checked the sources to see if they were possibly outdated or inaccurate.

Persuasion Project Unit Reflection

Why is it important to remember who benefits from the advertisement when you view an advertisement?

So you are able to understand who you are buying from, i.e., sketchers for my advertisement..

· Choose one form of persuasion and explain why it is effective in persuading you/an audience: logical, ethical, emotional

The one that persuades me the most is logical persuasion, when advertisements project statistics and data it makes me feel more inclined to click on it, etc.

· Choose an advertising technique and explain why it is effective in selling a product.

I think one of the most effective is “Special Offer” to put it simple, when you have a product that is let’s say 40% off, it makes it feel more urgent, important, like “If I don’t get this now it’s going to go back up in price.” or its a “Limited Time” product again, making it seem like you could be 1/100 to own this, or something like that.

Core Competency Reflection

This is how I selected images and words to create impact for my planned audience:

Before creating my advertisement i took a moment to look online at what some of the big franchises do to make their advertisements pop, glow, drag you in. Based off some of my own ideas, and what these big companies have done i came up with my advertisement.

An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is…

Well, i did this project solo, but i did take some ideas from bigger companies, i.e., McDonalds, Colgate, Sony, and especially Apple. Using some of their ideas, i was able to build my own advertisement.
