Character, setting and mood

  • What did you learn about determining a character’s physical appearance? Explain how you figured out what your Avatar would look like. I determined my character by listening and reading the book and figuring out what they look like like by the way the talk and how the author described them.
  • What did you learn about determining the setting of a story? How did you apply this to choosing the images in your movie? the author talked a whole lot about their surroundings, so i had an imagine in my mind about how the setting was.
  • Explain what the word mood means in literature and movies. What mood did you decide on for your movie? Why did you pick the song that you picked? i picked my song because i thought the mood was more of an dramatic and cool type vibe.
  • Don’t forget a conclusion sentence (you can take one from your movie)! one thing i appreciate about the production of this play is how there is a play inside the play. this was cool because i had never seen/read something like this play. the audience that best suits this play would be an audience who would want a god laugh, in this play you can witness someone call her best friend a pole over a boy. this play is full of laughs and can make others feel better about their own lives.

core competency reflection

  • When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I… usually like to listen to music or talking a little break to draw or go on my phone for a few minutes.
  • When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I… when i went to a store with my friends, i saw the popcorn pack but it was a different flavored, it was sweet and salty. i got it and me and my friends ate them all. after they were finished and i had no more popcorn packets left, but i had normal popcorn packets with just butter, i decided to make the normal popcorn. then i had an idea to put cinnamon and sugar in my popcorn, it was really good, and i showed my friends and they all loved it.
  • Some skills I have developed to make my creative activities better are… i like to listen to my music and draw and i figured out that music really helps me get some new ideas.
