Creating a Positive Digital Footprint
The internet is a scary place. No, really it is. From my past experiences with social media, I now know that social media yes, does have a positive impact on my life but at times can negatively impact your image. People should stay safe on social media, not only because of things that are out of our control like hackers, but sometimes our own friends could screenshot or share our confidential information. Google studies show that most problems come from social media as people can cyberbully and spread false information. False information. As we know, false information can spread like wildfire. The quote “ I have one major problem with the internet. Its full of liars.” shows that the internet or social media, in general, is not correct, and we should always seek it out especially in serious cases like for example, you want to look up if your dog is allowed to eat chocolate but a source says yes. That could end you up in thousands of hospital bills and a sick dog. All I can say is, do not put anything personal, or false on social media because it can give the wrong impression and change people’s perspectives on how they view you.

as you can see, i just wrote a paragraph on the safety of the internet
Personal/Social Competency Reflection
By doing homework with my friends online, I make a positive difference to my peers.
My online support network is helpful to me because they help me in my academics
I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences, including bullying and stalking so I adjust my actions to not get into drama and not take things online
