Core Competency CLE 10

Before this class

Before this unit, my resume was very simple and lacked strong structure. I did not know how to properly even layout a resume. It mostly listed my experiences without further explaining what I learned or achieved. I did not know how to properly format it or how to make it reflect my goals and skills. I also had no experience writing a cover letter and I was not confident in presenting myself properly to future employers.

What I had learnt

Throughout this unit, I learned how to build a strong, well-organized resume that highlights my strengths and experiences. I now understand how to use action verb, write bullet points, and customize my resume depending on the job I am applying for. I also learned how to write a professional cover letter that shows both my interest and abilities. Including my volunteer work, leadership roles, and teamwork experience has made my resume much stronger and attractive. This has helped me improve my confidence overall when applying for real-world opportunities. Overall, this unit has greatly boosted my confidence in applying for real-world job opportunities.

How I can improve in the future

Looking ahead into the future, I plan to continue building and personalizing my resume by gaining more hands-on experiences, especially in the medical field, through volunteering, job shadowing, or internships. I also intend to pursue awards such as Volunteering awards to strengthen my qualifications. Regularly updating my resume with new experiences, awards, certifications, and skills will help me stay competitive. I also will seek feedback from my teachers and mentors, most likely in the healthcare industry to make sure that my resume and cover letter is strong and up to date.

How it connects to Personal awareness and Communication

This experience with making a resume has helped me grow in two main ways. It improved my communication skills by teaching me how to express myself professionally and clearly through written documents like a resume and cover letter. It also improved my self-awareness and confidence by encouraging me to reflect on my personal strengths, goals, and overall values. I’ve come to understand that knowing who I am, is the most important part of the resumes, and being able to communicate that confidently is essential for future success. This helped me grow in the Communication and Personal Awareness aspect. I learned how to share my skills and goals clearly through my resume and cover letter, which shows strong communication. It also helped me reflect on myself, on my strengths and what I need to work on, which connected to personal awareness.

English 9 Reflection

My Futuristic World Diorama

Core Competencies

One strategy or activity that stimulates my imagination is…

One strategy that really stimulates my imagination is listening to music. When I get the opportunity to sit down, take a break, and truly listen, it helps me feel calm. Music creates a peaceful space where I can think quietly and feel all my emotions, away from distractions. It opens my mind to new ideas and emotions, often helping me dive into feelings I didn’t even know I had. This was especially important when I was working on creative projects, like the diorama. In that world, there was a girl stuck in a cage next to a house, surrounded by field of green grass and flowers. Her struggle to get out shows her emotional pain she might be feeling inside. The beauty of the field around her contrasts to this, making a unique perspective of the story. Music helps me connect with that feeling, of being surrounded by something beautiful, yet feeling stuck and isolated. It helps me understand her experience, and it allows me to go in her shoes to express her emotions more clearly in my work. Through music, I am able to explore emotions like hope and sadness, and I can translate those emotions into details of the world I am creating in this project.

I show that I value feedback from others in my group by…

I show that I value feedback from by really listening to their thoughts and suggestions about my project. Even thought this is not a group assignment, I believe tat having another perspective can make a big difference in how I approach my work. When I have my friend give me feedback, I try to take it seriously and think about how I can use it to improve my work, or how I can add more depth to what I am creating. Sometimes they notice things I never did, or think of something I never thought of. It helps me look at my project in a new way. I also make sure to thank them for their help, and let them know that I appreciate the feedback. Getting feedback like this helps me grow and pushes me to try new ideas. For example, while I was working on my diorama, my friend suggested that I add more detail onto the house, instead of it being a plain house, I should add windows, or add more cracks into the house to give it an old feeling to it that I clearly described in my paragraph. This small idea made the whole scene feel more real, emotional, and meaningful. It helped me bring the story to life, and it helped me see how other people sees my project.

Year-end Reflection: Band

Reflection

      1. What about the last concert/performance are you proud of? Why are you proud of this?

I was most proud of ow I played each note correctly and confidently. I was especially happy with how I played the rhythms in each song. I had been struggling with a specific rhythm in Carnival of the Animals, but though continuous practice and focused playing, I was able to develop a stronger sense of accuracy. This really helped me play that section fluently during the performance, which gave me a sense of accomplishment.

      2. If you could change or fix one thing about your performance, what would it be? What would you improve?

If I could fix one thing, I would work on my dynamics and expression. While I played the notes and rhythms correctly, I think I could have added more emotion in the volume of my playing to make the performance more engaging and feeling. I would like to focus on more of that in future performances, and looking up more often for the teachers directions.

        3. Please write a few sentences to describe your performance at our concert.

My performance at the concert went okay overall. I felt good with the music, especially the parts I had worked hard to improve. I stayed focused and kept a steady tempo, and I was proud of how everything came together on stage. It was a good experience to perform with the band.

          4. In a few sentences, please describe how this past year has gone for you in band. How have you improved on your instrument and what would you like to continue to improve on?

Starting to play clarinet just this year was very difficult for me. The clarinet was different from the instrument I have played before, the bass clarinet. Although they may have the same fingering, I found that playing the clarinet was significantly harder. This past year in band has been a great learning experience. I have improved a lot in playing more complex pieces and playing really high notes. My tone and technique have gotten stronger. Going forward, I would like to keep working on how I play my high notes and on the dynamics and musical expression.

          Cupcake Print Ad Reflection

          Core Competencies

          1. I ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener.

During our Cupcake project, I made a very strong effort to ask thoughtful questions and respectfully respond to my partners ideas in a helpful way. For example, when we were discussing what kind of cupcakes to make, I asked questions like, “What flavors do you think will stand out the most?” or “How can we make our cupcakes unique, and different from others?” These kinds of questions helped us as a group to stay focused and think deeper about our choices. I also listened carefully when my partner shared their ideas and opinions. If someone had a suggestion, I would respond with feedback, whether it was agreeing, offering a way to improve it, or asking questions to keep the discussion going. This helped both of us to create a level of trust, to feel supported. It made out teamwork much stronger and consistent.

          2. I find it easy to be part of a group.

I felt extremely comfortable working as part of a group during this project because we all shared responsibilities and respected each others ideas. Me and my partner, we divided up tasks like planning the recipe, calculating the costs of our cupcakes, and most importantly, designing the ad. I made sure to of my part while also helping others when needed. When there were disagreements like which cupcake flavor to choose, or what pictures would look best on our advertisement, I stayed clam and open-minded. We collectively worked together to make decisions that we both agreed on. Being able to collaborate, listen, and contribute made the whole experience more fun and productive. It showed me that I can work well with others and stay positive, even when we hold different opinions and different perspectives on certain areas.

          3. I can form new ideas to create new things. I can also build on the ideas of others.

Throughout the cupcake project, I came up with creative ideas to help make our product and advertisement unique. I suggested some of the cupcake names like, Berry Berry Classic, while helped give our brand personality and make it more memorable. I also helped design the advertisement, by proposing the idea of making it look like a journal, which made it more eye-catching and different from other advertising posters. At the same time, I built on ideas of my partner by suggesting small improvements, like how to arrange the pictures or how to write the prices more clear, bold way. Working together and combining all our ideas made the final product even better than we imagined. This project really showed me how powerful teamwork and creativity can be when everyone contributes and shares their ideas.

          Geography Town Assignment

          Geography Town Assignment

          Curricular Competency Reflection

I understood, identified and explained how those physical processes created economic opportunities either directly or indirectly.

I was able to understand, identify, and explain how physical processes such as landforms, climate, and vegetation created economic opportunities in Prince George. Through research, I learned how features like forests, rivers, and natural areas support important industries such as tourism, agriculture, and forestry. For example, the forests provides activities such as hiking, while rivers offer opportunities for fishing and transportation. I also saw how climate plays a big role in shaping what kinds of activities and jobs are possible in this region. For instance, in Prince George, grassland areas bring jobs such as a farmer. By connecting these physical processes to the real world economic benefits, I developed a stronger understanding of how geography affects the way people live and work.

I learned how to put this into a power point map and explain it.

While working on this project, I learned how to take the research I gathered and turn it into a clear PowerPoint presentation, One of the key parts of my project was creating and using a map to show where the features of Prince George landforms, vegetation, and climates were located. I placed icons on the map to highlight the areas that connected to the landforms, vegetations and climates. By building a map into my slide, I was able to communicate my idea visually as well as through written explanations. This helped make my project more engaging and easier to understand. I made sure that each place I highlighted were in the right places, by checking the map several times to be sure. This process helped me grow, allowing me to experience on how to use a map online. This helped me increase my knowledge on how to use tools like maps, images and layouts for this project.

Others find my feedback useful because I…

Others fine my feedback useful because I take the time to listen carefully and give a thoughtful, respectful answer. When I give feedback, I try to focus on what the person did well first, drawing the positive side first, and then offer helpful ideas on how they can improve. Giving them the right words to make their work even better. I make sure my comments are clear and specific, most importantly, I make sure that they are not offending anybody, so that they do not get discouraged. I also try to think about how I would feel receiving the same feedback. Whether it is on a project or an assignment or even a class activity, I make sure to be supportive and encouraging so that the person feel confident and comfortable with improving their work.

          Core Competency Reflection

I can understand and share information about a topic of interest in a clear, organized way

During my project on Prince George, I demonstrated this competency by researching and organizing my information about its landforms, climate, and vegetation, and how each one of these connected to the town’s economy. I made sure to present the information in a clear and logical order in our PowerPoint, using headings, colors and images to help explain the ideas. I organized each section so that it focused on one topic at a time, for example, one slide for landforms and their economic benefits, one for climate, and one for vegetation. I also helped make sure the design of the slides was consistent, so that the presentation as a whole looked clean. By putting everything in order and making each slide look clean and well-made, I helped make the project in a clean and organized manner.

I can ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener

While working on this project, I showed that I an be an active and supportive listener during class time. When I had questions about how to organize my PowerPoint in a certain way or details to include, I asked the teacher for help and listened carefully for the feedback.. i used that advice to improve my work and make sure that I was on the right track. I also paid attention when my friends were asking me a question or when they were sharing ideas on how to go on about this project. Listening to them gave me new ideas about how to present my own information more clearly. By asking thoughtful questions and being open to feedback, I was able to make my project better and respond to questions when needed and be a better listener.

I can tell the difference between facts and opinions.

I use this skill to help guide how I built and shaped my PowerPoint. When deciding what to include, I had to stop and ask myself if the information I was putting down was something that was proven and not just somebody’s opinions. This helped me stay focused on making a project that was clear, fair and based on real things. It also helped me stay confident in my work because I knew I was not just picking things that sounded good and fit, but I was thinking carefully and making smart choices. This skill also helped me decide how I was going to explain the content. I made sure not to include my own opinions an instead focus on the facts to make the project strong, balanced and informative.

I can form new ideas to create new things. I can also build on the ideas of others

I used this competency to come up with new ways to present information and make my project unique. I used creativity to design my PowerPoint slides in a way that was both still informative and visually engaging. I did not just want to present the information, I wanted to make sure it was interesting and clear. For example, I used colors and images that matched each section of the project to keep it visually pleasing. I also came up with the idea of making each slide have a different concept. Each slide has different colors and a different concept, which made it organized while adding my own twist. I organized everything in a way that flowed smoothly from slide to slide. This helped me be creative with how I presented the information, making sure it was both informative and visually engaging.

I can recognize my emotions and use strategies to manage them.

As I was working on this project, I realized that managing my emotions was something I was struggling with and I knew that this was what I wanted to improve. Sometimes, I felt overwhelmed when the project felt too much to handle with so much information and instructions. Moving forward, I want to work on recognizing those feelings early on so I can manage them better. My goal is to take a short break when I feel stressed, instead of continuing to do my work, I want to make sure I make time for myself and just take a breath. I also want to make sure I give myself enough time to avoid rushing and creating this pressure to finish it quickly. By focusing on managing my emotions, I will be able to stay more focused, organized and confident during future projects.

          Contract Law Storyboard Reflection

          Reflection

I think about what I am going to convey and to whom I will convey it to

Throughout this project I carefully considered what I wanted to convey and who my viewers would be. With the challenge of working with a limited vocabulary, I knew I had to think critically about how to create my own story. The task was very difficult, and it took a long time to figure out how to make combine all the parts together into one scenario. I constantly was brainstorming ways to deliver the main message while keeping the story engaging and enjoyable. After much reflection and revision, I finally found the right approach. I took the key concepts from what we had been learning and put them into the story in a way that felt natural and smooth. My focus was on ensuring the main message came through clearly and sat well with the audience, so they understood the message and would also feel connected with the story. In the end, my focus was on making sure the main message came through and how I can create the stories so it can resonate with the audience. I wanted the viewers not only to understand the main idea but to feel engaged with the story itself, so it leaves a lasting impression. Every word, every scene, and ever decision I made was created to achieve the way I would convey my message. It was challenging but I am proud of how it had turned out.

I ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener.

When I was going through this project, I found myself constantly asking questions to both my peers and my teacher, looking for a clarification and ensuring I had all the necessary information to complete this project successfully. I was fully determined to create this project with a clear understanding of this topic, so I made it my top priority to gather all the correct information, to be able to make me feel confident in this direction I was taking. At the same time, I took the opportunity to be a supportive listener and to help my friends when they had a question of their own. I always made sure to listen carefully to their problems and tried to provide them with the most helpful and honest answer. It made me feel happy to know that I could assist them in a way others had helped me too. This continuous exchange of questions and answers and support has not only help me grow but also contributed to my learning. By asking and responding to questions, I was able to further my understanding on this project. Each interaction I had helped me see the different perspectives. This process of working together, both asking and helping, made me feel more confident and engaged throughout the whole project.

I can form new ideas to create new things. I can also build on the ideas of others.

I knew that I had the ability to come up with new ideas, and this project gave me the chance to showcase that skill. One of the biggest challenges I faced was making a story with limited vocabulary but also a limited set of boxes to fill my story with. This made it harder for me to express my thoughts fully. However, this did not restrict me, instead, pushed me to think more creatively and find a unique way to draw these stories in an engaging way. Additionally, I gained many ideas from my friends. They offered suggestions that helped me build on my own thoughts and expand my project in ways I haven’t originally thought. By combining their ideas and my own creativity, I was able to further my work, making them greater and overall better. This experience showed me the importance of collaboration and how sharing ideas can lead to stronger and more creative idea, making the best outcome. This overall has shown me how much more powerful these ideas can be when they are shared together and developed. This experience allowed me to recognize that coming up with new ideas often require stepping out of my own comfort zone and taking risks. The limitation of this project did not stop me from being creative, it sparked more ideas for me. It was a reminder that creativity is made when you are surrounded with boundaries, pushing you to think in a new way. In the end, I was proud of how I turned these challenges into new unique ideas, proving myself that I am capable of generating new ideas.

Is Violence Justified During a Revolution?

          a) How did the use of AI assist you in developing this project?

AI has been a very valuable tool throughout the process of developing this project, offering great benefits that have been crucial for the success of this project. To begin with, AI has provided me with accurate, high-quality information that helped guide me through my thoughts. It has allowed me to think critically and see the problems from different angles, inspiring me into thinking of fresh ideas and solutions. By encouraging me to think outside the box, AI has gave me creativity and gave me new ideas, pushing me to explore new suggestions. AI is significantly powerful in its ability to gather information from sources. It does not just give the answers but provides context, details and even links to the original websites, giving me the opportunity to dive deeper into these topics to create to widen my knowledge. Having access to these materials has helped me develop a more detailed perspective on this project. Moreover, AI’s ability to offer personalized commands has been extremely helpful throughout the development of this project. Rather than presenting me with irrelevant information, AI consistently shows data that is specifically within my needs. This has saved me valuable time, allowing me to stay on track and not shift through varies contents. Overall, AI has played a crucial role in the development of this project, providing me with accurate information and enabling me to think creatively, analyze deeply and allowing me to save my times. Its support had been a gateway through navigating the struggles of the project. AI has been a key part of this project and its contributions have been essential in bringing my ideas to life.

          b) How did you ensure that the work you created was still your own, rather than just a product of the AI?

To ensure that my personal creativity and knowledge into my work is by rephrasing and personalizing any information I gather from AI. While I do recognize and appreciate the value that AI provides, especially when it comes to offering new ideas, guiding my thoughts or generating good content, I make a big effort to avoid simply copying its responses word-for-word. It is important to me that the work I am able to produce can be a true reflection of my thoughts, beliefs and ideas, rather than an AI simply giving me the answers I ask for. By rephrasing information given to me by AI, I am able to make it in a way that connects with my own perspective, while also adding depth and originality that AI alone cannot provide. I see AI as a starting point for exploration to get our ideas started. It is crucial to me that my work represents my creativity and my own personal touch the project. In addition, I think there is greatness in taking raw suggestions from AI and then reworking them into something that speaks the information but in a way that resonates with me. This not only helped me input my own sense of identity within the work, but also allowed me to challenge myself in the process of reworking. In the end, it comes down to AI being a great resource, but the final product should always be a direct window to your own personal voice. In this way, I am able to create something original, while still benefiting from the unlimited possibilities AI offers.

          c) Did you agree with the position you had to argue? Why or why not?

Yes, I strongly agreed with the position I was tasked with arguing, and I do stand to believe that violence should never be justified, regardless of the situation or challenge, violence should never be considered a valid solution. Throughout history, we have seen how violence, whether in forms of revolutions or wars, it has offered many destructive forces that cause harm and suffering. While many revolutions and wars have been started by the belief that violence is necessary to bring change and justice, I cannot support the idea that bloodshed is ever seen as justified. On the other hand, I do in some way understand that it may sometimes seem like a desperate response to inequality or injustice. I can understand the perspective that, in extreme cases, the use of force may be viewed as the last option. However, history has shown us that violent actions, no matter how it seems at the time, leads to more violence, creating a cycle. I believe that relying on violence as a solution wears away the possibility for peaceful change. It creates harsh dialogue, reduces empathy and makes a cycle of continuous hatred. On the other hand, peaceful protests and non violent actions have often proven to be more effective, sustainable and a better way to resolve conflicts. In summary, while I can understand the arguments made by my partner who views violence as a necessary tool in certain situations, I will strongly believe that violence should never be justified. The risks it creates to individuals, communities and societies as a whole is too large. Instead, we must seek out peaceful solutions to our problems and achieve changes in a way that we protect human life and all above.

          Core Competency Reflection

          a) I am clear on the difference between simple “group work” and collaboration as evidence by…

Working with a teammate on this project was very enjoyable and a great experience. Collaborating in a team setting is an opportunity not to just share the workload, but also for developing skills like communication and problem-solving. I have come to realize that it is important to understand the difference between simple “group work” and real collaboration. In group work, the tasks can often feel distributed unevenly, leading to imbalances in amount of effort and responsibility each person needs to take on. In some cases, one person may end up doing majority of the work, while the other may not contribute much, making it very unfair and sometimes frustrating. This king of situations make it difficult to maintain motivation and continue to move on. It can also destroy the overall quality of the project, as the contributions of one person may not match with the work of others, due to the lack of communication as well. On the other hand, true collaboration goes far from just sharing some workload, it is about sharing ideas, building off of one another’s ideas and engaging in meaningful communication to improve the overall outcome of the project. Collaboration allows everybody to have a voice and a role that helps shape the project. The thoughtful exchanges of perspectives, feedback and support makes the best of the project, as everyone works together toward the same goals. In my case with my partner, I can confidently say that we were fully engaged in conversations. From the beginning, we made sure to have ongoing discussions about our vision for the project. We took each others ideas and took time to understand, from there, we divided tasks fairly. This constant communication ensured that we were always on the same page, allowing us to take on challenges together and come up with great solutions. In summary, working with a teammate on this project was a valuable experience. By sharing ideas, communicating and supporting each other, we were able to create a project that added both of our colors. The difference between simple group work and collaboration has came clear after working with my teammate.

          b) When I need to work collaboratively with people I don’t know well, I…

When I need to work with people I am not very familiar with, my first priority is to make sure we have the same goals and approach on the projects final outcome. Clear communication is significant, especially with someone unfamiliar, to break down any barriers and create trust. Even if I am working with someone I know well, I still make sure to communicate. This allows us to share ideas, express discomforts and divide tasks efficiently based on our strengths. While I have had experiences where communication flows more naturally, I recognize that when working with someone I do not know well, it is crucial to break discomfort that may exist. This means taking time to talk, making sure that we both feel comfortable. By doing so, we can quickly establish a sense of respect and understanding, which is a crucial part to collaboration. I believe that when both people are able to express their thoughts and goals for the project, it becomes easier to identify how we can contribute to the team. Understanding each other’s strengths, skills and work preferences, allows us to divide tasks in a way that makes sense. In the end, whether I am working with someone I know well or someone i have just met, the key to a successful collaboration is communication. When both people connect and feel comfortable expressing their ideas, feedbacks or concerns, the projects flows more smoothly and the outcome of the work becomes much more stronger.

          My First Year

My first year in high school was fascinating of new experiences, challenges and growth. The first year of high school was very overwhelming if I was being honest. The amount of work compared to middle school definitely made me feel out of place. Especially, with all my peers catching up to the high school expectations and while I struggled to keep up. On top of that, I was nervous about making new friends and stepping out of my comfort zone to talk with people I was not familiar with. However, these challenges shaped my high school journey in ways I have never expected it to be. I made so many new friends, from people I knew, faces I have not seen since elementary and peers I met in my new classes. The constant homework, tests and quizzes pushed me to discover more about myself, all my strengths and my weaknesses, which allowed me to focus on growing in areas I struggled in. In addition, coming into high school, I was able to experience new clubs and classes that fit into my interests. Joining band in high school exposed me to the true delight of music. I was capable of learning a new instrument and to play music with a group of people who are truly passionate about music. The new pieces, the ability to come together to do something we are all so fond of, to play it to our peers, friends and our family. Taking this course in high school has showed me why I love being in band and love music. Another surprising highlight was joining a Leadership was class, I was skeptical of first, as I did not know exactly what it was going to be like. Surprisingly, I did not regret joining this class. The purpose of joining leadership is to help out the school community and where we live. Give back to it and appreciate it. This exposed me to the idea of being grateful and giving back to where I live, where I go to school. Leadership was a class where I could do my part in the community. This first year, I decided to focus on the civil engagement area, which highlighted volunteerism. This was probably the best decision I made throughout this year. I was able to volunteer through the community, from reading to children, cooking with children to help promote a non-profit business. Looking back, my first year of high school was hectic and demanding, but I would have not had it any other way. I overcame these challenges, found new interests and passions, and most importantly, I grew as a person. Those struggles taught me valuable lessons and I am thankful for the chance I was given to experience it all.

The TED website is an incredible platform that shows many educational videos, making it a valuable resource for people, especially students. Ted covers many different ranges of topics, from science to art, and personal development. I chose this website to highlight the importance of this website, because, as a student, I find it to be a very accessible resource open to anyone. Whether I am looking to explore new ideas or deepen my understand of a specific subject, being able to watch TED talks make it more engaging and helps me absorb complex ideas. I tend to watch a TED talk during a study break or in my own times, each video is designed to create curiosity and inspire many individuals. What I appreciate the most about TED is its emphasis on the power of storytelling. Speakers share their insights through different narratives that make learning feel more personal and impactful. The ability to connect education with inspiration and being able to be motivated to think differently, all through a video amazes me. I could see myself using the TED platform consistently throughout my education. In short, TED is more than just a website, but is a gateway to unlimited knowledge and can significantly help students expand their knowledge through a website.

I chose this educational video, out of all the educational videos I could have chosen, I selected this one because it speaks a struggle I have seen so many people face, the lack of perseverance. I have seen many peers, individuals and friends get stuck after a setback, unable to find the strength to stand up and keep going. The inability to stay strong, especially after falling down, can be hard. I have experienced this first hand, especially in the first year of high school. I chose this image because it beautifully represents my experience during my first year of high school. Entering a new environment with twice as many people as I was used to made me feel overwhelmed. I suddenly found myself surround with unfamiliar faces, finding new friends and trying to figure out where I fit in. The pressure to fit in and the constant worry about how others may perceive or view me created a negative mindset that I carried with me every day. This fear of judgement and the need to prove myself to others occupied my thoughts. As time passed, I realized how damaging this way of thinking was. It kept me in a cycle of self-doubt and a fear of judgement, preventing me from fully enjoying my experiences in high school. This negativity and pressure started to affect my confidence. However, after further reflections, I started to take small steps into changing my mindset. I recognized that I did not need to rely on the opinions of others to define who I was. Instead, I started to focus on myself and improving myself, not proving others, for my personal growth and development. The change of perspective became a turning point for me in my high school journey. I began to appreciate each step I took, no matter how small, it started to become something to celebrate. I realized that my progress was not always prefect and sometimes I would catch myself falling or stumbling along the way, but these were just important as moving forward. It was in those moment of failure that I was able to learn more about myself and what I was capable of doing. I understood that growth is not about achieving perfection, but about making progress and learning from every experience. This mindset has helped me keep a reminder of how far I have come and how much more I am capable of achieving when I believe in myself.

“Life has no limitations, expect for the ones you make.” – Les brown

I chose this quote because it carries such a powerful message that deeply resonates with me. It perfectly explains how life is only limited by boundaries we place on ourselves. Life is full of endless possibilities and we have the potential to experience and achieve anything we set our mind to. Often, it is not life that limits us, but is ourselves that restrict. afraid of doubt or the opinions of others. This quote resonates with me because I have often found myself limiting my own potential, thinking I could not achieve something because I was not capable enough. But I have realizes that with a strong passion and determination to put in the work, I can overcome these challenges. This realization has empowered me to be more confident in taking risks, trying new things and stepping outside of my comfort zone. I have started to see obstacles as a opportunity for growth. I am not afraid of failing because I know that failure is apart of my journey and I have the power to shape the life I want to live in, and the power comes from within me. With each step I take towards breaking the limitation I put on myself, I am becoming more aware of my potential and learning to embrace each step I take. Drama 9

Being in Drama 9 was an incredibly fun experience, it not only allowed me to explore deep into my passions but also gave me the opportunity to connect with new people in meaningful ways. At first, I found it difficult to make friends, mostly due to the awkwardness and lack of communication with others. It was hard to approach my classmates. The whole nature of the class is where communication and collaboration is essential and I was soon encouraged to step out of my comfort zone. Through series of interactive activities games and team exercises, I was naturally engaging with my peers. These activities helped me build stronger connections and friendships that I would have not created if it weren’t for this course. I was able to form bonds in drama 9 that made my journey not only fun but memorable. In addition to social growth, drama 9 helped me develop personally. One of the most valuable skills that I learned was effective communication, both verbal and non verbal. Acting requires deep levels of emotion that can be spoken through expressions. Acting is a language that can be understood without speaking. Drama helped me be more comfortable performing in front of others, or even talking in front of many people. I developed a new confidence in my communication skills, this useful tool I developed will be used in my everyday life. I noticed that I became more open and approachable, willing to engage in conversations with others both in and outside of class. On the other hand, this experience helped me grow in terms of group work and collaborations. Throughout the course, we were often put into groups to play scenes. Working with others in a creative environment taught me the importance of teamwork, especially in this course. I learned that to be able to create a strong group, we must listen to each others ideas and communicate your own ideas as well. Overall, Drama 9 was an amazing experience for me. It was not only about learning the arts of acting but also was about pushing myself to grow socially and emotionally. This course provided me skills in communication, group collaboration and self-growth. Most importantly, it helped me build lasting friendships.
