i believe that while Canada was trying to fix the issue, they cared more about themselves. For example, the relief camps. It’s true it played, and it was a work camp, but the amount played, and the work conditions were terrible knowing this all the essential workers all protested even harder. Eventually the provincial government decreased the pay of work camps. the elderly and unemployed started getting sick. After the relief camos were stopped then it caused more causalities, therefore WW2 started.
