I chose those functions to represent certain features of my face because of these reasons. I used an absolute value function to make the neckline of my sweater as it was a clear “V” shape and it would be a lot faster than putting together two linear lines. I used a hyperbola for my nose bridge, and I also used it for one of the sides of my face as it resembles the shape. However, I had to use restrictions to make sure only one side of the hyperbola was showing in the geometric shape resembling the side of my face. I also used the cubic function many times as there were a lot of shapes I had to remake that started out with a curve and then ended up flattening out. I used the ellipses for the round parts of the music notes, and circles for the iris’. I used a sin graph a curvy part of a note. I used parabolas for any gaps that needed to be filled that weren’t linear, and the bottom lips. Finally, I used linear functions for closing small gaps and larger, straighter lines. For example, I used them a lot for the headphones as there were a lot of longer straight lines that were easily shown with linear functions.

Why I Deserve Extending

All of my graphs fit the picture I used as a template and the end result was my final graph resembling me a lot. All of my graphs are also extremely detailed and restricted in order to have everything touch seamlessly and not have lines out of place anywhere. I believe I have in addition to putting in extra work, used a great variety of graphs, including complicated ones not listed on the criteria including sin/cos graphs. Lastly, I believe I explained my reasoning well in the paragraph above, as I descrabed most functions I used, why, and gave examples.
