I can analyze evidence to make judgements.
The first presentation, we had on CPR was a good review on the procedures of CPR including how to use a AED. The second presentation, was about overdoses. I learned that a Naloxone kit is a life saving kit used for individuals in the middle of an overdose. The acronym, “save me” represents how to use the kit. Also, Naloxone kits are accessible at pharmacies and are free. Additionally, The good Good Samaritan law, will protect anyone from drug possession charges if they help an individual during an overdose and call emergency services. Lastly, I felt that all the information shared was very worthwhile and that overdoses should be talked about more often.
