Physical landforms               

Osoyoos is mainly desert with some dry grass lands because it has rolling hills. It is like this because volcanic action in Canadian shield spread material across Interior plains in sweeping rolling action.  

The rolling hills and flat lands allow lakes. The lakes attract people to tube, ski and all water sports including fishing,

The climate in Osoyoos is hot summers and mild winters. They don’t get very much rain or snow. This is a hot sunny dry climate because it is in the shadow of the Cascade Mountains.  

Hot summers attract people to go to Osoyoos to be outdoors on a beach. 

Vegetation              

The vegetation in Osoyoos is made up of sage brush, grasses and some thinner trees.  

The soils are rich with nutrients so people can farm and grow fruit trees and grapes for wine.  

2.These geographic features impact the growth and sustainability of Osoyoos in a positive way. People like to go to the lakes, golf courses, fishing, beaches visit winery’s and fruit orchards. Tourism is their main source of income. 

3.25 years from now I would put more places to buy stuff for ur boat like tubing and all water sports. I would develop a place in the middle of the lake for gas, life jackets and safety equipment, food and beverages.
