Poetry anthology

What I find innovative about my flipbook is that I added pictures for each poem. I generated most of my ideas by looking up what flipbooks look like online and looked at my peer’s projects to see what they look like. I spent some of my time designing my flipbook I found many good pictures and I went through PowerPoint themes. Next time. If I had to this project again I would spend more time on the research component because I believe I could have found better poems. I didn’t really learn much because I have used PowerPoint in the past and designed many slideshows but this was my first time using Flipsnack which I learned how to convert pdfs to flipbooks.

Speech Unit Reflection

Something I learned through this unit is how to use Gale Topic Finder. I found Gale Topic Finder to be a very useful tool when reasserting my topic and I didn’t click on the first website on google with gale topic finder I found dome good websites that gave me good information. I didn’t really have any strategies when I made my works cited page I used citation machine to convert my URL’s too to MLA format and that’s all I used for my works cited page. I found websites the most useful. there weren’t many books for my topic but there were many websites. When researching I found this CBC article and it had a lot of good information which helped me form my speech. To improve my research skills I could try to look at more websites not just look at a few and take information from them but other than that my research was pretty good for this assignment.
