I believe that I have a strong understanding of the curricular competency of continuity and change. I am able to identify and analyze how past events can lead to future developments, and how change often occurs slowly over time. I am also able to recognize connections between events, however, I still need to improve my ability to think critically to make conclusions. I need to work on developing my skills in connecting elements of the past to current events.
My strongest core competency is communication. I am very confident in my ability to communicate in both written and speaking. I am also able to effectively listen to others and understand their point of view. I feel that this allows me to collaborate with others and come up with creative solutions.
I feel that there is still room for growth in my reflective thinking and social awareness and responsibility. I need to continue to work on my ability to reflect, as well as be aware of the impact my decisions have on others.
