Art Core Competency Reflection
I have always been fascinated with the idea of artists trying to express their internal thoughts through painting or other forms of artistic expression. I try to replicate this in my first piece for my sketchbook in art class. This piece was also up my mix media skills as he uses both pencil and charcoal and its composition.

Communicate and Create: I learned a lot about myself in this assignment for you, I will use I will use more introspective, thinking in my writing to be able to create more relatable and impactful works.

Creative Thinking: I was able to reflect by myself and the goings-on of my life and used it to fuel my creativity during the assignment.
Grade 10 Games day written assignment
I played Uno for Games Day
1). What strategies did you start with?
honestly I didn’t have a strategy I just put my cards on the table and hoped for the best.
2). How did those strategies change?
Later on I gained more awareness of the people I was playing with, when I was playing Uno it was almost like I was a fisherman waiting for someone to pace down the right card or color then I would stat a +2 or +4 “train”. People all around the table would franticly place there cards on the table to avoid being hit by the train.
3). Were your new strategies successful?
This strategy almost always worked in my favor and rarely back fired.
4). Why did this strategy work?
The strategy worked because it caused panic, the players would play all there +2s trying not to get hit by the train. This would allow me to play my cards without worry of other players trying anything that would halt my victory.
5).Were there any patterns you noticed that helped you during play?
I did see that other players had there own strategies some were more predictable then others.
6). Are there “rules” you can generalize to someone to do well at the game?
The rules of Uno are simple there are 5 card colors if your card is the same color or number as the card on top of the pile. The objective of the game is to get all the in your hand in the pile first.

A. How was the ease of access in building your flipbook, despite this being the free and limited version of the software?
it was okay a little limited but it was fun to use.
B. Were you able to apply the skills you learned in the planning stages appropriately to a digital environment?
yes.
C. What were the sources you researched that made this an “authentic make-believe” American Revolution flipbook?
Mostly Wikipedia.
D. Is there other software online that could have done the job better? Did you use another software instead? Explain

Creating a Positive Digital Footprint
Personal/social competency reflection. By Jett Locke
- I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences. I understand that what I say and do online may affect my ability to find a job.
- Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy online presence include asking my parents for help. I’m very aware and excepting of the fact that due to my young age, I do not quite fully understand the world around me online and in the real world.
- Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are by regularly talking with my friends. I make sure not to share any personal details unless I can trust that friend with such information.
- Young people like me can often say things they don’t mean or fully understand and that can leave a footprint that may not be favorable but could be used against you later in life.
- On-line predators could discover your age and try to use that against you to do things that you normally wouldn’t do so protecting your personal information is very important.
- You should be very protective of sharing any personal images as someone could pretend to be you and do things that would damage your reputation in the real world.
- I maintain a low profile by using alias accounts that cannot be linked to me.(usernames that have no link to me) My YouTube channel uses an alias.

My Bio
Hi my name is Jett and I have ASD or autism spectrum disorder I land on the high functioning part of the spectrum it is something that comes in many different forms with its many strengths and weaknesses my strengths are: I can hyper focus on subjects that I am interested in, I would consider myself a creative person I am good at creating ideas for stories and or character designs. My weaknesses: I think slower then most students sometimes and I don’t do well with tests or projects that have short deadlines, I’m sensitive to loud noises and i have a hard time get assignments done on time.
My favorite courses are: science and art
The courses that are difficult for me are: Math and P.E
In my experience I preform best with assignments that give me room for creativity but have strict guidelines and have long dead lines. I also like having relative freedom on how I present my projects be it animations, art and crafts, drawings, panting or stories just to name a few. but I’m very willing to compromise if needed.

I like this video because it is a very big inspiration for one of my goals which is animation, as well as becoming a better animator. I also love the music and sound design.
