Collaborating

I can take on roles and responsibilities in a group; I do my share.

For this mini-project, I had taken on the role to help a teacher re-design a digital worksheet for their ADL class. I was provided the original worksheet, and vague ideas that the teacher wanted me to implement in the new worksheet. However, upon brainstorming, I had struggled to think of original and creative ideas. I utilized our Tech Leadership Teams page to see if any other tech leaders wanted to help me with the project, and soon enough, one of my peers had replied to me eager to help. She messaged via Instagram direct messages to brainstorm ideas, and to split up the work evenly. We had decided that I would do the information page and the graph, while she would do the menu with pictures. Though quickly we realized that our schedules collided and we would have to work on our own portion of the project individually.

We both had taken on our own responsibilities to meet the deadline the teacher had set for us, to efficiently achieve an end product that both parties were happy with.
