three things I learned while listening to the cpr presentation was that you must make sure you are going to be doing cpr on someone win cardiac arrest because if they are just unconscious you could really hurt them because there’s a good chance you’ll break there ribs. Another things I learned was that nicotine in vapes senses a signal or something to your brain that makes it easier to get sick and makes the sickness worse. Seeing the resultof what some of this dons to you and how dangerous it can be hives me a chance to help accurately

my poem

Curricular Competency Reflection

  1. I chose the poem Chicago, and I chose that poem because I wasn’t finding anything that related to me, but the talks of a city like Chicago caught my eye enough to do it about that. I also did enjoy the style of poetry with it not being in perfect symmetry and having interesting use of words and terminology.
  2. I believe what helped me most for remembering the poem was having another person hold my poem as I read it and help me with a word or two when I get stuck, I do this until there are fewer and fewer mistakes.
  3. the reason the write helped me when I went over to recite my poem is because, it made me have to think harder and deeper and really read over the lines and got a better understanding of what it really helped which effected how my mood would be for certain parts.

  1. I have valuable ideas to share about… and do so by… making sure I always speak at least once during discussions. I also listen to those in my discussion to add on to at least one other persons thought.
  2. When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I… Like to go to the washroom, take a little walk while I’m out there, I would stop for a drink of water and if they were in my path a friend to talk to for a minute and then head back to class. this gets any jittery energy out (going for walk) it helps feel fresh and clean with good focus (water and bathroom) and can boost my energy (talking to a friend)
  3. I appreciate feedback on… anything I’m doing that I could improve and do better on and prefer it comes in the form of… direct criticism but in a respectful manner, a physical demonstration hands on or not also gives me a better understanding.

Communication    I can communicate well and get my point across with good understanding.        For this photo I was able to use some skills I learned earlier this year and apply them to figure out what was wrong and to help critique the image. I used skills like using your contrast abilities and the blurred areas and figured out how to make that picture better. I then displayed my knowledge by explaining in complete sentences for a good understanding of what I was trying to say.

Creating and Communicating

  1. this helped me learn because once a couple are pointed out you get the hang of it and realize what they are. then once you see them in the show its easy to point out what they are.
  2. I collected ideas through the show and gained ideas on how to write the paragraph. i got help with figuring out what satire allusions and irony is. i used all the key things to make my a better paragraph, put it together, then handed it in.
  3. I used less is more. made sure i used necessary words, punctuation, and good grammar.

Core Competency Reflection

I remain open minded as I explore viable options or alternative approaches, like when I wanted some good ways of using irony and asked Mr. Cook for help.

I respectfully advocate for my needs by letting others know what could have to make my writing better.

An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is when i saw how someone was giving structure to there essay and decided to use it as well but still my own words.

My Digital Photobook

this project is a word photobook where you make a photobook like format on any topic of your choice. In this photobook I demonstrated profile 6, I showed that I communicate with intentional impact, in well-constructed forms that are effective in terms of my audience and in relation to my purpose. The only challenge I really had while doing this was jus thinking of questions to ask myself. this is the most important in a normal day of life because you need to show a purpose when doing things to get your points across better to others for people to listen to you and so there is no miscommunication.

for this project I felt that I worked very well and creatively. I wasn’t distracting my neighbor’s and was helping them if they couldn’t figure something out. I stayed on task and used my time wisely, overall I felt that what I did for this project is an example of working hard and doing a good job.

Social awareness and responsibility in CLE 10

for this assignment we worked on it was me, Noah, Nate and Dylan. We worked really well together and we worked efficiently, for not knowing any of them very well we communicated well and all shared ideas. I feel as though I participated in the group a large portion of it. When I didn’t know there top three values I had no issue asking my group mates what they were. Over all I think it was successful and we worked well together.

since I didn’t do the project on any digital device its hard to answer the second question.

the only thing i researched was the pictures of the people.

lastly i didnt use any other digital platform because i did it on paper.

Communication Reflection

personally I feel as though my group worked well on giving equal amounts of work and putting each other in sections where we would feel strongest, we communicated great weather it was through skype, email or in person. we had a fun time working on this project but we did our work when work was needed to be done; we completed our project on time and I believe we did well enough that we deserve at least a “B”
