Our interactions with letters from the trenches and over the top simulation has influenced my understanding of the contributions that Canadian soldiers made by showing me the importance and sheer amount of numbers that Canada had in WWI, It also showed me how mundane most of the war was for the soldiers with the pure patriotism from the soldiers keeping them going.
