My Artifact

Curricular Competencies Reflection

My artifact is a Photo Project that expresses personal connections between myself, text, my surroundings of place conscious learning. Transformed by ideas and information to create and communicate by using original photos that are significant to me. I represented my learning in a PowerPoint Presentation and used Indigenous themes, issues, and text as growth in my viewing skills. By analyzing text to learn from a different perspective. While being aware of the land I am on and being able to have a respective relationship on my surrounding as working towards reconciliation.  

Core Competencies Reflection

Sharing my experiences of personal awareness, social awareness and responsibility for my artifact. By illustrating my personal connections with what place- conscious learning is to me and how I can continue learning about the First Peoples Territory. Acknowledging First People Territory of our land shows recognition and respect to Aboriginal People. I created personal connections that make up my identity that included my stories and relationships. Place – conscious learning is where you can focus on critically understanding the environment or place. Everyone has different intakes of self-conscious learning.
