Metalwork Edu-blog Process Assignment

As part of Mr. Peterson’s metal 10/11 class I have started working on two dice. So far I have finished drilling and cleaning up the holes for the numbers on each of the dice pieces. I used critical thinking when measuring the two inch pieces as well as the location of the holes, marking the place with a center punch to ensure the measurements were correct. I was successful for the most part in this goal, but I should have spent more time making sure the measurements were accurate before I started drilling holes instead of just saying “close enough” and moving on. What went well was drilling the holes themselves, I am proud of how drilling the holes went. While I continue the dice project I will try my best to be precise and spend more time measuring and marking before I make cuts and/or welds.
