Spanish 11 Critical and reflective thinking

While working on this script we carefully analyzed our work and helped each other out with the script. Anytime I needed help my partner helped me out along the way. I also asked my friends how my spanish script looked and they helped out with the knowledge they had too. While reading the criteria sheet i struggled putting the idioms and phrases in the dialogue. My partner helped me out by helping me choose better idioms and phrases. One of my goals is to be able to write an entire script on my own.

Core Competency goals

I plan to take on roles and responsibility in group work/projects: l don’t mind doing projects with friends but sometimes I get really tired and end up falling asleep. This year I plan to get better sleep and to be able to get my work done on time. I’m good at research so I usually end up having that put on me but I’d like to try another way to help my group out. By doing this I will gain new skills.

I’m able to recognise my feelings/emotions and am able to control them: I usually end up getting tired or bored in class. I think it’s because i don’t bother trying to make an effort or i just am tired. I plan to take on active roles in all my classes this year. When I get tired or bored I will ask a peer or a teacher whats going on.

I’m kind and support others when they need uplifting:

I get along with people pretty well when I just have 1 on 1 time with them. I want to be known as someone who people are able to ask questions. This will be knew for me because I can be quiet at times.

Socials Reflection

The skill I used for this project was critical thinking. This fills the critical thinking core competencies. I carefully read over the information and tried my best to produce a presentable looking piece of work. I chose this because I thought it was the hardest piece of work i had done in the class all semester. It was difficult to finish but I did it and now i’m just waiting for my final mark. While working on this project I learned about overpopulation, Human pyramids, and economic issues.

Core Competency Reflection

Critical thinking is the analysis and evaluation of an issue to form a judgement. Creativity is the use of our imaginations or ideas. Digital literacy is having skills, you need to live, learn, and work in a society where communicating and accessing info through digital platforms. I want to learn how to socialize more with other people. I’m working on this goal because i feel like it needs improvement and I’ve never been much of a people person.

Pancakes

making and sharing reflection.

This Recipe was really fun to make with my partner. I didn’t know you could put pancakes in the oven to keep them warm, I would’ve never thought of doing that if it wasn’t for the tutorial. My partner helped me with making the pancakes because he had experience with this recipe in the kitchen. I knew we were a good group when we laughed at our mistakes and corrected ourselves for next time. I wasn’t putting in the correct amount of batter when we were pouring it into the pan, so my partner corrected me and i thanked him. My friend needed help trying to find equipment an because i looked through all the cabinets and remembered all of the equipment places I was able to help him. My phone died but my partner was able to take the picture and share it with me.

My goal is to be able to complete a recipe with no mistakes this year. I want to work on this goal because it will prove that I am very responsible in the kitchen.
