What is cyber bullying?
Cyberbullying is bullying that happens through digital devices like phones, computers, or tablets, often using social media, texts, or online games. It involves sending, posting, or sharing harmful, false, or mean content intended to hurt or embarrass someone.
A: I am learning about cyber bullying and how it gets recognised across the globe and how it should be stopped.
B: There was a girl named Amanda Todd who was cyber bullied by Aydin Coban. He made her send inappropriate pictures of herself to him. He then used those pictures against her by trying to exploit her for money. On October 10, 2012 Amanda Todd was found dead.
C: Amanda’s mental health was affected because she thought that if she were to tell someone, they would they look at her differently and spread rumours about her. It affected her emotionally because she was scared and sad that he was doing that to her.
D: If I were to hear about this situation, I would make Amanda tell her Mom right away so that her Mom could have the situation dealt with immediately.
