Collaboration

During the squid dissection, I worked closely with my partner to carefully follow each step of the procedure. We took turns handling the tools and identifying different parts of the squid, such as the mantle, arms, and other structures so that we could draw our squid on our lab sheet and label each parts of the anatomy. When drawing the squid, we put it next to our lab sheet so that the visual and calculations would be accurate. We communicated clearly and divided our work evenly which helped us stay organized and complete the dissection successfully. By collaborating effectively, we not only gained a better understanding of squid anatomy but also developed teamwork skills. After we finished the dissection, we both worked on the calculations of the squid and found the drawing magnification, which was our last step. We then handed it in early because we had used our time productively by communicating and staying on task.
