Communication

I communicated in class by frequently asking my teacher and peers questions when I struggled to understand a concept we were working on, and when others asked I gave them feedback. When working in groups I clearly explained my ideas and made sure to divide our work evenly. When we had projects I made sure to text my group members outside of school to discuss our ideas and plans so that we could achieve a high grade. During in class writes, I would ask my teacher questions so that I could create a paragraph that flowed well and is grammatically correct.

Thinking

I used creative thinking by building upon others ideas and learning new things from others to use in the future. I used critical thinking when I didn’t understand something at home. I looked through my notes to find solutions, and I used past knowledge to solve problems that I had. I made sure to ask more questions in class so that I could gain more knowledge for the future.

Personal/ Social

In my Spanish class, I actively shared my personal and social awareness by engaging in conversations about projects and assignments. I make sure not to be too loud so I do not disrupt the class, and I am respectful and kind to my peers. I am an active listener and I give feedback to others when they ask questions. I make sure that all my assignments are turned in and that I am ready for all upcoming tests.

I work with others to achieve a goal.

I chose this prompt because I worked efficiently with my partner and we shared and built upon each other’s ideas.

I find it easy to be apart of a group.

I chose this prompt because I enjoy working together with other people. Working together with other people instead of working alone is important because not only do groups usually get work done quicker, there are more ideas that are created.

I take on roles and responsibilities in a group; I do my share.

I chose this prompt because when I was working with my partner, we decided to divide our work evenly, and we agreed on what our parts were. We both found information online, and she reworded the information, and I organized our script. We both organized and printed pictures out on the poster.

I can form new ideas to create new things. I can also build on the ideas of others.

I chose this prompt because when my partner suggested that we do a poster, I suggested that we should write a script along with creating a poster.

I give, receive, and act on feedback to progress in my goals.

Im working on this goal so I can improve my grades in school. To achieve this goal I will pay ask more questions.
