Curricular Competencies Reflection

During this assignment I improved on my writing and speaking because during my speech I chose a topic that was very important to me and writing it made me realize things in our society are not always fair. Speaking it made me realize I had a voice and could change the way people see the world. I did good on this assignment on top of that which made me feel that if i worked a little harder, then you can be successful.

Core Competencies Reflection

Some creative thinking I did to come up with my speech topic was how to incorporate the LGBTQIA+ community but also making it unique. When I realized that people and things were getting over genderized I knew I had to make a speech about this serious manner. It is so important to me that the people of the LGBTQIA+ community get recognized and get help when their struggling to find out who they are and want to be.
