“Genetics Unit-Beginning”
should genes be allowed to be owned by anyone? Why or why not?
Genes cannot be allowed to be owned for they are your personal DNA, which is a very specific set that define who you are as a human being! Technically, speaking it is you, yourself. The way your body functions, the way you look and nobody should not own your genes! In the further depth explanation this that will hopefully deepen your understanding you will effectively define whither one can duplicate or replicate your genes without your consent. Because DNA will always naturally occur and can’t be manipulated outside your laboratory. However, during the law that has been apparently placed, it states “Individuals do not own their DNA or any tissues to that extent.” Which, is utterly unbelievable. Individuals should be given this ownership as it is theirs and nobody else’s.
“Reflection On Social Awareness And Responsibility”
I can value diversity, defend human rights, advocate for issues, and interact with others. This Unit in science had taught me many things, especially in the structure of different genes. The unit also, caused me to improve with my creative thinking as-well as critical thinking. The different class discussions have made me think about the different possibilities and the what if. My responsibility is 50/50 I’m responsible when it comes to my actions, however I need sometimes more time for my homework.
