ADL Informational Fluency

Something that I’ve learned about is Gale. I’ve never heard of it before and it’s really useful. I would use it again for doing research in the future. For my presentation, I used PowerPoint. PowerPoint is easy to use and simple once you get the hang of it. After doing my research, I immediately started using PowerPoint since it’s my number one presentation maker. One thing that I hope to improve on is doing more research then I did before.

My Self-Portrait

Reflection

For my visual representation, some innovative things that are in it is how I cut my images rather then using elements from Canvas. When I started working on this project, I had no clue as to what I wanted to do. It was mostly a “go with the flow” assignment for me. Honestly, I loved making this poster a lot. I don’t even have a reason for why I do. The main part I enjoyed is making the sketch book. I put all the things that I like drawing into it. Which was a challenging yet fun thing for me to do. Something I would probably improve for next time is being more creative with the background. The main thing that I learned is cutting out backgrounds from pictures. I used this super easy website called photo scissors which made me put about 85% of the photos in my visual representation. It’s so helpful that I’m using it in my other subjects as well. Over-all, I’d like to say that I worked hard on what I’ve made and I’m proud as well.
