My Digital Footprint

When I searched my name online I didn’t find anything. I wasn’t surprised because all of my social media is private. I’ve always kept my social media private because I don’t want strangers seeing pictures of me and anyone can use your information so it’s better to be safe by keeping all of your accounts private.

I’m glad that nothing showed up when I searched my name. I’m glad because I wouldn’t want anything to do with me online which anyone can see. Later on in the future when I would need to get into post secondary or would need to apply for a job they wouldn’t find anything bad about me, which is good. I wouldn’t want anyone that I haven’t met yet to find stuff about me online, because if it’s bad I would already give them a first bad impression about myself, for example if it were my future boss. This is why I like to keep all of my accounts private, it’s so much safer and better.

Something that I experienced during this assignment and would use again would be the website anchor. I had no idea what anchor was and what it did before this assignment. I was pretty shocked by how easy it was to make a podcast. Now that I know how to use this website, if I ever have any more assignments on making a podcast I will hopefully be a pro at using it. An online tool that I found very helpful during this assignment would be the website anchor. This website was very easy to figure out and also very helpful. It was easy to figure out because everything was so clear and understanding. It was helpful because I pretty much used this website to do my whole podcast. The source that I found helpful during researching for this assignment was the internet. On the internet it was very easy and helpful. The internet had everything I needed to know and stuff to support my ideas. I thing next time I can improve on my research by finding more stuff in books instead of being lazy and finding everything on the internet.

Reflection:

a. I was able to identify a problem with ease. I was able to find the problem by searching online or thinking really hard.

b. Yes I was able to dream of the future and identify solutions.

c. I was kind of satisfied with my final project I think I could do better at making it look better.

d. next time I would try to add more stuff to the part where I was talking about my innovation in the future.

Reflection:

a. How I knew that the information I gathered was reliable was by using citationmachine.net

b. How I chose my medium to display my learning is because I’ve never used sway and I wanted to try it out. It was pretty easy to make my timeline on sway and I enjoyed using it.

c. I am satisfied by how my timeline turned out I didn’t expect to gather that much information but I did which is good.

d. How I would refine my assignment in the future is probably by making my paragraphs bigger and adding more about my topic.

Reflection:

a. Something innovative about my visual representation is I put in some music symbols. I put those there because I forgot to add it into my self profile writing. I really enjoy listening to music.

b. How I generated my ideas and developed them while working on this project is by thinking.

c. The thing that I enjoyed about my visual representation is how I designed my self portrait and how I learned to use Canva.

d. Some things I would improve for next time would probably be making my writing more detailed and probably making my self portrait look better and not rush it.

e. Something I learned about my creative ability is that I can make a collage and use the website Canva.
