Core Competency Reflection

My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include is to assign people to separate topics to ensure everyone know what they are doing as well as everyone knowing what others are doing so if work is not done we know who didn’t do it.

One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to to clarify a main idea and have everyone work around it to ensure we have all relevant information and our work is somewhat connected. Giving our project a good flow helping with our flow in the presentation and helping other by building on top of the ideas.

This is how I select images and words to create impact for different audiences. The way I Select my wording and images is based on the topic and people I’m presenting to this helps with their understanding as well as their interest in the presentation.

I found this assignment somewhat challenging as we had done something similar to this in a previous year yet because of it needing to be two units I had to make many adjustments compared to what I had previously done. This made the project a little more difficult as when making one side I had to make sure there was enough space to not go over the maximum area I could use as well as the maximum square footage we could use for the building. This year we had special documentation we had to do for the project although wasn’t too challenging it still had a few problems to overcome. This also helped me understand how to structure a bigger more intricate building.

Creative Thinking and Critical Thinking

I made this R2D2 on Auto CAD. We had to make a to make a model of R2D2 with the proper measurements. Any measurements for parts that we did not have we had to estimate the size. This project helped me become more detailed with my drawings although not the best work I think it still turned out well. I learned a few new things while doing this project. Such as blocks which allow to insert a drawing previously saved. Which helped speed up the small details.

Mr Huber taught us h to do the mortis and tenon joint and gave us measurements to line up the mortis perfectly but my piece were not the same as his so i had problem solve to get the way to get the mortis in the right area. I can show my problem Solving skills. i can show a sense o accomplishment and joy

This poem I created is about my favourite fruit

Curricular Competencies Reflection

This poem was made to get people visualize a pineapple without seeing it in front of them. I didn’t have anyone in particular in mind. This was made for a wide majority and not for a singular person. This poem is not very personal to me as it is just about my favourite fruit and not about something important to me. I made this poem as I went without a real solid plan. I used different poetic devices with different colours and sensations to describe what a pineapple is.

Creative Thinking Core Competency Reflection

I chose my topic for my poem because when I first saw the criteria I thought of a pineapple so I chose it. I used some referencesfrom my last few poems to get some of my ideas. Other then that I got a picture of a pineapple and described it. To stimulate my imagine and create this poem I got a picture of a pineapple a described it to make it easier for me to imagine a way to describe it. I don’t think I had a very innovative poem as it was quite basic when it comes down to it. I could make a better plan before making a more unique poem.

I made tacos. twice every mouth we taco Tuesday it started when i was 10 and there wasn’t really a reason for it we just really liked tacos. there wasn’t any challenges because I’ve been doing this for a long time now. my greatest success was making the tacos.

I made broccoli, rice and chicken. i did not use a recipe for this I made it up. If I were to make this dish again I would use teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce.There weren’t really any challenges in this simple dish. My greatest success was cooking the chicken so that it wasn’t too dry.

I made chicken,corn and a salad. I didn’t use a recipe i just did it off the top of my head. If I were to make this dish again I would add different spices. I didn’t have any challenges because it was a pretty easy. I’d say my biggest success was not making the chicken dry.

I made cutlets, mashed potatoes and peas. I didn’t use a recipe just made it up. If i were to make this again would have cooked the cutlets a little longer because they were a bit dry. This meals was pretty easy so i didn’t have any challenges. The end product was probably the biggest success since i turned out so well.
