Core Competency Reflection

My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include is to assign people to separate topics to ensure everyone know what they are doing as well as everyone knowing what others are doing so if work is not done we know who didn’t do it.

One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to to clarify a main idea and have everyone work around it to ensure we have all relevant information and our work is somewhat connected. Giving our project a good flow helping with our flow in the presentation and helping other by building on top of the ideas.

This is how I select images and words to create impact for different audiences. The way I Select my wording and images is based on the topic and people I’m presenting to this helps with their understanding as well as their interest in the presentation.

Creative Thinking and Critical Thinking

I made this R2D2 on Auto CAD. We had to make a to make a model of R2D2 with the proper measurements. Any measurements for parts that we did not have we had to estimate the size. This project helped me become more detailed with my drawings although not the best work I think it still turned out well. I learned a few new things while doing this project. Such as blocks which allow to insert a drawing previously saved. Which helped speed up the small details.

This poem I created is about my favourite fruit

Curricular Competencies Reflection

This poem was made to get people visualize a pineapple without seeing it in front of them. I didn’t have anyone in particular in mind. This was made for a wide majority and not for a singular person. This poem is not very personal to me as it is just about my favourite fruit and not about something important to me. I made this poem as I went without a real solid plan. I used different poetic devices with different colours and sensations to describe what a pineapple is.

Creative Thinking Core Competency Reflection

I chose my topic for my poem because when I first saw the criteria I thought of a pineapple so I chose it. I used some referencesfrom my last few poems to get some of my ideas. Other then that I got a picture of a pineapple and described it. To stimulate my imagine and create this poem I got a picture of a pineapple a described it to make it easier for me to imagine a way to describe it. I don’t think I had a very innovative poem as it was quite basic when it comes down to it. I could make a better plan before making a more unique poem.
