Refelction:

I was able to identify a problem with ease, the first few sentences described the problems the inventor had to go through while the innovation was being built. I built my project from a backwards design by researching the patent. I thought about how I wanted my innovation to look before I found solutions for the problems because visualizing how it will look helped me find solutions. I was able to dream of the future and find solutions by identifying problems we have in the present and then finding a solution that would fix it. I am satisfied with my design and results because it shows what I think needs to be changed for the innovation to improve. In the future, I would refine my project by using my time more wisely and making use of online sources.

My Tribute Costume

About Me:

My name is Dylan. I will be talking a bit about myself today. There are a lot of unique characteristics about me however, I can also be basic. I love hanging out with my friends, playing video games and keeping up with trends. Fashion and clothing really intrigues me, people call me a “hypebeast” it is a person that follows trends in fashion, particularly street-wear. I love playing video games because they are really fun and I play for money, the highest amount I have played for is $75 and over the course of playing I have made over $4,000. While playing I don’t fool around and always have a mindset of winning . In the end, I would say that I am a hard-working, easy-going, brave, nice and trendy person.

Tribute Costume:

Reflection:

The Tribute Costume I have created shows some of my interests and represents how I feel. I chose these pieces of clothing because in my opinion, it looks fashionable/trendy and in real life i like to keep up with trends and look somewhat fashionable. While choosing his outfit i also thought about how people would see him, I went for a guy that means business and isn’t fooling around. I came up with these ideas by using a brainstorming sheet, connecting my characteristics to clothing and facial expressions. If I were to do this again, I would make sure to use a better software so that it looks more presentable. Over the course of this project I have learned that brainstorming is a good way of getting all of your ideas out and that I like to design outfits.

My Digital Footprint

2. Researching Myself

I was really surprised with what showed up when I googled myself. There were instagram posts/pictures I thought I had kept private. You should always double check your social media to make sure it is all private.

3. Reflection of my Digital Footprint

Posting online is kind of the norm nowadays, especially with my generation. We are so attached to our devices that we feel lost without it. I have to be careful what I post on social media because it might affect me in the future. I have to think what I post, everything on the internet would never go away. I have to be positive with whatever I post online, this would affect how other people would perceive me just by seeing whatever I post online.

I have always set my privacy settings to my friends only and never public. This is to ensure that I could protect my online identity. And I don’t accept friends that I don’t actually know so as to limit who sees my post.

Future education: I know that with the digital world anyone can search you up, including teachers. I have to be careful when posting a comment, a picture etc. because anyone could see it. being mindful on what I do on the web would limit information about me.

Job and Career prospects: Future employers will now have the ability to find out about employee prospects even before they hire you. Even though there is some anonymity on the internet, your name is out there, and it maybe linked to some information you don’t want to share. And this might ruin your chances of getting hired.
