Chemistry 12 Self Assessment

I displayed creative thinking here with the making of the procedure. We were tasked with deriving the procedure using the observations made previously to be able to isolate an unknown solution. the procedure I derived was correct and I achieved a grade of P/D on the assignment which I am proud of. In order to save space and escape from redundancy I opted to use “Repeat step one into 5 new test tubes” instead of having to explain the full thing multiple times.

Core Competency Reflection

If there is disagreement within the group, I find it helpful to talk it out and find a compromise which incorporates both of our ideas into our presentation. if they are no similarity’s between the two ideas I would bring up each idea and tell everyone that these were the two ideas we had for this and ask which one makes more sense to them.

An example of something I have spent a lot of time learning about is my journal entries. before I just did the journal entries because I was told to by my teacher but when we got to the “Death of a Salesman” unit I got a lot more interested in writing them. I poured extra time into making my journals and writing about what I found in my readings.

When I need to work collaboratively with people I don’t know well, I try to get to know them before starting any work. I ask their hobbies to see if we have any common interests, this helps us work together more cohesively.

In the future I would like to work on my creative thinking. To do this I will work on being able to generate better ideas. When it seems the good ideas just won’t come to me, I try to listen to music or meditate or do something completely different to help calm myself or create space in my mind so I can properly get the ideas I want to generate into my work.

English 11 Poetry Reflection

My Poem

Potato Poem

The sporadic spectacle of the spontaneous spud sparkled.

The asexual apparatus augments the soil.

Soon the potatoes will bloom.

The corporeal crop displayed its complexion,

Tan, red, purple, blue, green, and pink.

The stupendous starch was plucked from the earth.

Off on an adventure they say,

Through the USA, through to Canada.

To the bustling bougie boutique.

Selected, constrained, and purchased.

Escorted to the dwelling.

Boiled alive in a bubbling pot of death.

Blup, blurp, pop.

The soft flesh pierced through the heart.

Compressed, squeezed, squashed, pureed.

Set upon the table.

The taste was like an empty canvas

Sopped up by the meat.

Gorged upon, the omnivore was sated.
