Collaborating
I used the collaboration core competency in my chicken pox project by working with my partner to
plan design elements, evenly split the amount of content we were writing and provide each other with helpful sources. I was also able to effectively communicate with my partner to determine when we were each available to meet up and we frequently provided each other with constructive criticism. I think this assignment helped me improve on my problem solving skills, as when creating the pamphlet, there were some text formatting issues and we had to figure out ways to fix or bypass the issue while maintaining a visually appealing pamphlet. One skill I feel like I could’ve improved on was remembering things. This was because there were times in our group project where I would forget to charge my laptop or bring important tools required for working on our project.
