The Writing Process

The book I chose was samurai rising. The book was set in 12th century japan about a samurai named Minamoto Yoshitsune and samurai who was exiled to a Buddhist temple after his family clan defeat by the hands of the Taira clan. During the book we will follow the Genpei war in Yoshitsune’s eyes and see how he will overcome the the obstacles during his journey. The book is non-fiction and since it’s non-fiction its a good book to learn about the genpei war and how the samurai cam to power during medieval japan.

Core Competency

When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I will take a small break.

Some skills I have developed to make my creative activities better is when I had to explain on why I choose a that certain quote during my writing portion of this project.

My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include reading the quote and then think on what the quote is meaning.
